Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Northside Omaha Stay We were traveling through Nebraska, going north from Omaha, and this hotel was great location for us. It is in quiet area, but the staff directed us to a wonderful sports bar for late supper. You have to pay attention to the winding road to the property, and almost feel like you've arrived at a destination up on a hill. Staff was friendly, room was clean, shower had good water pressure, beds were comfy. We'd stay there again. December 4, 2013

The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful even though they had to work the holiday. Customer service is very important to me and this hotel excells in Customer service. If in the Omaha area even if this is a little further to drive it is worth it. December 3, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some rooms good - some rooms bad Our group had three rooms. One room on the first floor smelled very musty and bad. Another room on the first floor had a pillow that smelled like urine. The third room up on the second floor was perfect. Overall the motel was clean and new. There seems to be a wide variance in quality of the rooms. The breakfast had nice variety and was nicely presented. When I opened the carton of milk for my cereal, I found it was sour and curdled. The breakfast staff was very helpful in correcting the problem. September 16, 2013

Hotel is easily visible from Interstate but getting to entrance is a little confusing the first time. Elevator access is small if you are using a cart. Otherwise a very nice place to stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Everything great, but what happened to Priority Club perks? We have stayed in HIE from the east coast to the great plains. We have always been satisfied. Several months ago we stayed in HIE in Ohio and New York. When we arrived there was always a bag of perks for being a Priority Club member, a bottle of water, an apple, and a cookie, or some such. We were surprised when we registered at this HIE and received our perk, a single small square of chocolate. The workout room had good equipment, but the TVs had been removed. Breakfast and room were fine. June 11, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but it needs work When we decided to attend the Berkshire Hathaway meeting, most of the downtown hotels were full and Cherry Hills didn't look too far away. It wasn't, drive time downtown wasn't more then 20 minutes and it was very convenient to the Regency Park area. The hotel is clean, but really nothing special. Having stayed at Holiday Inn properties 29 nights out of the last 6 months, I have come to expect more for the price I was charged. For example: On arriving I was welcomed as a Priority Club member, then given 2 small pieces of chocolates. That's it. I was given a coupon to watch a video and receive 1000 bonus points, but after watching the video, it still hasn't registered my points. The hotel staff was okay, but nothing really welcoming like I have had the pleasure to experience at other hotels. The hotel fitness room is one treadmill, one stair climber, some weights and a broken bike. Really sad. And of course it was too cold and windy to walk outside without a parka. The handicapped alarm in our room was set off a few times by kids and of course, it got stuck and woke up everyone 3 rooms away. And it did it again the next afternoon. See what I mean, little things. On the plus side the rooms are very clean, and the pool and hot tub area, spacious and enjoyable. The lady in the breakfast area, she was awesome and really busting it to cover the full house. She told us that she had given up a day off to help out. And the head of housekeeping was very helpful in dealing with a shower problem. I wish I had gotten their names but both were outstanding. May 12, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service This hotel has twice now denied a Platinum member a bottle of water or even recognition of status. The explanation I have received twice is "we just don't do that here!" I knew I had stayed twice too long when I was woken at 1AM from the laundry going. When I approached the front desk clerk he had this puzzled look on his face and said "its almost done!" Who does "hotel' laundry at that time of the night... It was the same clerk that checked me in a few days before. December 19, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staying out of Convenience I stay at this hotel because it is convenient to the location I work at. If I had more options that were equally as convenient, I would be hesitant to stay at this hotel. The main reasons are: 1. There is always something broken in the hotel, whether it is the door frames/push handles on the main stair doors, or inside the room itself. Several of my co-workers (in addition to myself) have experienced non-working (or poorly functioning)phones, remotes, lights, showerheads, etc. 2. The staff can be unfriendly/unprofessional at times. Many times when I go to the front desk, the "newer and younger" staff are playing or talking on their cell phones and I have to wait until they are finished. I also do not feel as though they do not acknowledge or respect Priority members as they should. They act inconvenienced by almost every request. November 14, 2012
