Well priced and close to many restaurants, health clubs, shopping, etc. Friendly staff as well, but the "little things" often tell the tale. No in-room coffee replenishment after the first night, breakfast and coffee counters always needed cleaning, no one on duty for over 30 minutes at 7:30 AM. Noisy AC unit in my room, plus an ice machine you could hear at the other end of the hall.
I'd stay there again, but only because it's so close to my work, plus much less expensive than other nearby choices.

when I called to reserve my room it was late in the evening and I was surprised I actually got to speak with someone at the actual hotel I was going to be staying at. I spoke with Laura and she was very professional and extremely helpful to me. When we got there to check in they were pretty busy at the front desk but they actually looked up and made eye contact with me said hello and they would be right with me. I don't know about anyone else but that is a plus in my book. check in was very quick and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful. the room was nicer than we expected and very clean. the breakfast was way more than we expected and the breakfast lady Ana made sure everything was stocked and always warm. throughout our stay the front desk staff was always pleasant and was quick to get anything we needed. I have never had a more enjoyable stay at a hotel than I did at this one.

First off the front desk staff were amazing.. this was my wedding night and the front desk staff helped me decorate my room to surprise my new bride. They did such a wonderful job it was very romantic and my wife and I loved it. The room was very spacious and it was very quiet and clean. In the morning the breakfast was great and they had a great selection to choose from. The front desk staff was kind enough to let us have a later check out then usual. I can't tell you how nice it was to be able to relax after the wedding it meant a lot to myself and my wife. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I chose this hotel because I had stayed here once before and I had an amazing experience. Thank You to all the staff for making our special day a very special night and a much needed relaxing one. We just might have to come every year for our anniversary.

We checked in after 9 on a Saturday night and it was so quiet on our floor. We never knew there were kids on our floor until the next morning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the extra sink outside of the bathroom! It was great for a group of 4 women trying to get ready at night and in the morning. I didn't know there was a microwave or refrigerator in the room so that was a surprise. It was a little tough getting to the hotel, but with little or no traffic on a Saturday night it was easy to turn around. I would have hated it if there had been more traffic. We used the exercise equipment and it was all in great shape and seemed pretty new and up to date.

Totally impressed with desk clerk. She was very friendly and accommodating and helped us get very comfortable with the motel and with directions around the city.. Found other staff friendly as well. Room was very clean and comfortable but the bed was softer than what we would have liked. The breakfast bar had a good selection of above average food quality. Would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed the weekend, just to " check out" for a few days. We were both very pleased with this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The pool was well maintained, and could only be accessed with our room key. The breakfast was an added bonus, with hot and cold options.

We were very annoyed that the maids started knocking on doors at 8:30 am for maid service on a Sunday morning. Check out is not until 11 AM! There is plenty of time between 11AM-3PM to clean the rooms without waking your guests that are trying to relax on a Sunday morning. There was also a manager on Friday night 8/30 smoking right outside of the lobby and check in. It was very unprofessional and disgusting. The hallway on the 5th floor smelled like an ashtray and was very hot. I guess you get what you pay for.

Both nights between 3 and 4:30am noise from nightly maintenance made it impossible to sleep. Buckets, water and cabinets opening and closing awoke me and the continual noise kept me awake.

The excellent customer service we received was wonderful! The room was very nice and clean. It had a fridge n microwave in it. Then the continental breakfast was out of this world. From hot food to cold food they had it all.

We enjoyed our one night's stay here and found it a definite upgrade from where we'd been staying previously down the road at the AmericInn. We were especially pleased with the breakfast, which had a wide variety of selections including an automatic pancake maker.
The only drawback is its location on Dodge, which is a difficult road to get turned around on if you are coming from the "wrong" direction. Fortunately our GPS unit was good at taking us on the back routes to get there from any direction.

We checked in at 1 am after calling the hotel to let them know we would be in late and they held our room for us. When we arrived, the 2 queen plus sofa with sofabed suite we had reserved had been given to another customer and there weren't any suites available, however, the room next to ours was empty, so they gave it to us and we occupied both rooms for the price of our original reservation. It wasn't ideal, but it was great that the staff was helpful and willing to accommodate us with no grievance whatsoever! I would definitely stay at this facility again.

When we got to the property, we were told that the room we reserved was not available due to an unexpected stay over with the guests that were in the room. We totally understood, the circumstance but, they wanted to put us in a room with one king bed and a pull out sofa for 4 adults. When I was not okay with this the manager was kind of testy. He did put us in a room with 2 Queens but I was not impressed with the attitude. The hotel lobby area was full with a family reunion at all times so that was very kaotic when trying to get through the lobby and at breakfast---forget about it, the dining area was full and spilling over to the lobby. No peaceful time in the pool area either. Young children in pool with no adult, or adults in the lobby occasionally looking through the window at them. The jacuzzi was not working. The location is okay but very difficult to get in and out of due to traffic and one-way streets. The rooms were comfortable, and quiet for the most part, some children running the hall but, not at late hours.

From tghe time we checked in till we checked out everyone and everything was excellent. I reall enjoyed the bereakfast each morning. The selection and the lady putting the food each morning was very friendly and always saw that everything was kept stocked and fresh. The manager and assist. manager was really friendly and was fun to joke with and made you fell as though you were an old friend. Had a wonderful time in Omaha and a wonderful experience at the hotel. Would deffinately stay there again as well as recommend anyone stay there.

Clean and comfortable room in a freshly renovated facility. Our stay was very comfortable (as expected). Location could not have been better for our trip. We had great access to everywhere we needed to be. More than an ample selection of dining and shopping was minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel. A great stay at a fair price.

Our stay was great! The front desk was very attentive to our needs. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff kept everything filled and was very courteous. We had a great time and would recommend the Holiday Inn to our friends.

This is a smaller hotel centrally located in Omaha and convenient to a lot of nicer parts of the city. That said, entrance to the hotel is very limited and basically requires you to be traveling west bound to get in. Hotel quality is average. The staff seemed disinterested and completely missed my membership in priority club. Rooms were average. The day I arrived, it was almost 6:00pm and the maid was still in my room. Bed spreads looked like someone had wadded them into a heap, and then re-spread them. Lights in the bathroom were maybe 45 watts (they all worked, just so dim, what was the point?) A/C was good and I did sleep alright in the room. Internet connectivity was spotty and the television actually took 4 to 5 minutes to load channels before you could start surfing. Breakfast was limited but acceptable. The hotel offered evening beer (probably 10-day old, warm PBR) and limited salty snacks. I would not personally choose to stay at this particular Holiday Inn in Omaha again. I've stayed at others in the city that are much, much nicer and more comfortable.

My room was very comfortable. I would have had the ironing board somewhere other that the bathroom.
I was not please by the fact that Holiday Inn Express was the primary sponsor for the NHL Championship series but chose NOT to carry NBCSP at the hotels so I could watch the games.
I was also displeased with the desk staff. It seemed as though the desk clerk at check in did not know her job very well and had to get assistance several times. Also, my key cards kept failing and the desk clerk I saw for that chose not to wear her glasses and couldn't see while trying to help me....very long process as a results.
I did get the pool cleared of kids (little league championships) so that I could use the Jacuzzi and relax. Well done there.
I stayed for a week and the 6th floor ice machine was broken the whole time..... very inconvenient to go to the 5th floor for ice all the time.

You know that relaxing feeling after a long day in the sun, where you want to come back to a cool hotel room to relax? Well you won't get that from room 506 at this property. My buddy and I were in Omaha for the College World Series last weekend. We came in Saturday night and the room was muggy, but thought it would just take some time for the room to cool down. It was after 10 pm and we had woke up pretty early to finish our drive to Omaha, and then sat in the sun all day watching great baseball. So we just went to sleep, thinking the room would cool off. It did not. Sunday morning, we told a representative at the front desk, who told us she would have the A/C checked out. We were in the sun all day again watching baseball and walked in the room close to midnight. Again, a muggy room awaited us. The person at the front desk had come a few hours prior and had no notes as to whether or not anyone had looked at the A/C. She did put a call into the maintenance person, but being closed to midnight. We settled for a oscillating fan that she offered and slept the best we could as we had to drive back home on Monday. Things happen, and life goes on. However, some follow up to ensure the A/C was looked would have been nice!

My Dad was staying at the hospital a few blocks away, booked at the last minute. Price was hiked up +$30 because of college world series starting in few days, they refused to give me the regular hospital rate. But I needed a place to stay. The air conditioner fan was loud and went on and off, there was no way to make it run continuously. No benefit for Priority Club member. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.

This is my second attempt to place a review on this site...hopefully this one stays. The front desk personnel told me that actions were being done but nothing was imputted in the system. Lost all of my points to another person in my party and didn't even get the correct receipt.
I moved out and it to another property because of the bad service.

this holiday inn was definitely not up to your standards.
bed uncomfortable pillows were terrible. forgot to leave soaps, and shampoos one day. Changed passwords didn't notify guests
cancelled room keys so when you got to your room it wouldn't work . the desk said oh we change those on fridays??? well tell us before we take the lift to our room.

Very comfortable bed and room, BUT....over half the TV channels did not work, no desk chair so I had to drag the heavy recliner over to the desk, and one of the bedside lamps was missing a light bulb. And its a good thing I can wake up on my own because the wake- up call I was supposed to get never came.
Other than that, pretty basis HIE.

This is an updated, well cared for property with a friendly staff. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed which allowed me to sleep like a baby. Breakfast was good and had an option or two above the standards at Holiday Inns. The only downside is that it is not the easiest property to turn in or out of due to a road median, and only one dining option within walking distance. I would gladly stay here again!
