The woman who was at the counter when we checked in and the breakfast were the only positive things about this place. There was a gaping hole under the sink where the fridge may have been / might be some day. It looked as though someone had sawed through the cabinet with a dull steak knife and walked away. The shower was tiny, like vertical coffin tiny. I went for a walk to buy some snacks and when I came back the door to the outside was not locked. If it was not 1 am that would not have bothered me but it was, it was and it did. Since it was so late and there was nothing to do in the area we called it a night. When we woke up we noticed an odd stain on the bed sheet. A stain clearly created by a bodily function. When we checked out, we might have complained but it took 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk and she only reluctantly followed me because I went to hunt her down. Luckily she recognized me and knew what room I was in because after breakfast I had to deal with her because the bill slipped under my door was for the wrong rate. One calamity after another.

We always stay in a Holiday Inn Express when we travel. Very disappointed by this location. The room was freezing cold. The pillows were old and lumpy. There wasn't a refrigerator in the room- just an empty spot under the counter. The shower curtain was broken and just slid to the middle of the shower rod. The furniture was marked and seemed old. The carpet throughout the hotel was dirty, stained and appeared old. Overall the hotel seemed like it needed major updating. Not at all what we have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express

hotel was okay but not worth the price, maybe half the price. staff was very nice and friendly but i think they are working with what they got. hotel seems old. again nice staff

This motel is showing its age and needs to either be rebuilt or remodeled. My room (507) had a very musty odor the entire night even with the AC running the whole night. There was water damage to the ceiling which had never been repaired. I would wonder if there would also be a mold problem in conjunction with the musty oder. The employees I had contact with were very friendly and the breakfast was very good!!! I have stayed at this motel in the past, but will not again. The front desk did not acknowledge me as a Priority Club member. There was no usual bottle of water and thank you for being a member.

We usually enjoy going to a Holiday Inn Express and while they had all the "normal" amenities we like, it was run down. The water level in the pool was at least one foot lower than stated. The whirlpool jets were not working. The exercise equipment was dated. Our room was nice, but dated. There were stains on the carpet and couch in our room. Some of the breakfast choices were not available due to broken equipment. I do recommend Holiday Inn Expresses, but not this particular one.

Not sure why some reviews are uber-critical of this Holiday Inn Express. The elevator carpet was a bit dirty and our room air conditioner was a little noisy the first night, but overall this was a decent place to stay. The breakfast area was a little crowded for the weekend and the pancake maker was on the fritz - and maintenance should have waited until "after hours" to try and repair as their presence clogged up the aisle for guests trying to eat but overall selection was good. The hotel does look a bit "tired" and worn down but if updated as descriptions indicate is on the horizon this would be a repeat choice for us. Front desk staff was superior and at check-in we were immediately told that our rewards membership number had been looked up and points (since we had pre-paid) added to our account.

Elevators were hot and the carpet in the elevators were dirty. Grounds could have been kept up better.
