My stay here was an unplanned. When I dropped in at the front desk I greeted with a smile and expert service. I made it a point to note the front desk clerks name, Katti. She started my stay of to good start and ended just the same.

The woman who was at the counter when we checked in and the breakfast were the only positive things about this place. There was a gaping hole under the sink where the fridge may have been / might be some day. It looked as though someone had sawed through the cabinet with a dull steak knife and walked away. The shower was tiny, like vertical coffin tiny. I went for a walk to buy some snacks and when I came back the door to the outside was not locked. If it was not 1 am that would not have bothered me but it was, it was and it did. Since it was so late and there was nothing to do in the area we called it a night. When we woke up we noticed an odd stain on the bed sheet. A stain clearly created by a bodily function. When we checked out, we might have complained but it took 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk and she only reluctantly followed me because I went to hunt her down. Luckily she recognized me and knew what room I was in because after breakfast I had to deal with her because the bill slipped under my door was for the wrong rate. One calamity after another.

We always stay in a Holiday Inn Express when we travel. Very disappointed by this location. The room was freezing cold. The pillows were old and lumpy. There wasn't a refrigerator in the room- just an empty spot under the counter. The shower curtain was broken and just slid to the middle of the shower rod. The furniture was marked and seemed old. The carpet throughout the hotel was dirty, stained and appeared old. Overall the hotel seemed like it needed major updating. Not at all what we have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express

hotel was okay but not worth the price, maybe half the price. staff was very nice and friendly but i think they are working with what they got. hotel seems old. again nice staff

This motel is showing its age and needs to either be rebuilt or remodeled. My room (507) had a very musty odor the entire night even with the AC running the whole night. There was water damage to the ceiling which had never been repaired. I would wonder if there would also be a mold problem in conjunction with the musty oder. The employees I had contact with were very friendly and the breakfast was very good!!! I have stayed at this motel in the past, but will not again. The front desk did not acknowledge me as a Priority Club member. There was no usual bottle of water and thank you for being a member.

We usually enjoy going to a Holiday Inn Express and while they had all the "normal" amenities we like, it was run down. The water level in the pool was at least one foot lower than stated. The whirlpool jets were not working. The exercise equipment was dated. Our room was nice, but dated. There were stains on the carpet and couch in our room. Some of the breakfast choices were not available due to broken equipment. I do recommend Holiday Inn Expresses, but not this particular one.

Not sure why some reviews are uber-critical of this Holiday Inn Express. The elevator carpet was a bit dirty and our room air conditioner was a little noisy the first night, but overall this was a decent place to stay. The breakfast area was a little crowded for the weekend and the pancake maker was on the fritz - and maintenance should have waited until "after hours" to try and repair as their presence clogged up the aisle for guests trying to eat but overall selection was good. The hotel does look a bit "tired" and worn down but if updated as descriptions indicate is on the horizon this would be a repeat choice for us. Front desk staff was superior and at check-in we were immediately told that our rewards membership number had been looked up and points (since we had pre-paid) added to our account.

I booked this room for my friend and I for a short road trip to Omaha. All hotel employees were attentive and nice. I would definitely book this place next time in Omaha.

Room did not meet the standards of other Holiday Inn Express Hotel I have stayed. Noisy AC system kept waking me up every hour on the hour. Carpet on floor and curtain seem old and dusty. All the furniture, (as limited as it was) seemed to have been purchased from a hotel that had gone out of business or had update their furniture. Coffee pot in room was dirty. Why not invest in a small Keurig Coffee maker. Positives; it is easily assessable to highways and restaurants.

If you are looking for a good location this is a place to consider. Its close to the Zoo, Gardens and downtown. The breakfast was really good and the nightshift was very friendly. The morning staff with the exception of the hispanic gentleman need manners. The pool area is a little too hot and uncomfortable but it was okay for my girls. The gym was a joke. Good space equipment just didn't work.

Had trouble registering my members card. We called the Customer Service line and after being on hold for ten minutes we did get the problem solved. We were surprised and disappointed to find out that only stays booked on the hotel site get points. If you book through a hotel booking service, you will not get points.

My overall experience was good. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel was a little run down and outdated but this didn't bother me too much. I didn't use the pool due to the large number of families with kids. I kind of expected this with the new Henry Doorly Zoo Exhibits that started up that weekend. (I was there for the zoo as well.) The lobby and great room were very nice. The couch in my room had coffee stains on the arms but it didn't stop me from using it. Just typical stuff that happens at hotels. Again, it was very comfortable and I had no issues with the staff.

I had a very bad experience with this certain holiday inn express. Don't get me wrong, I love staying in holiday inn express. The people were rude, the rooms were very dirty. The first room we got, I wouldn't even put my thing down, so we got a second room and that wasn't any better but that is all we could do cause the hotel was full. I have never had to pay for my room in advance before. I had to at this certain hotel because instead of taking my reservation at the front desk they transferred me to someone else and they made me do an advance payment. When I wanted to check out early and not stay the last day, we where not granted a refund.

Staff at desk and food servers were great. Bathroom and bed linens clean. Overall Hotel needs a face lift. New carpet, new bed skirts ( ours was torn and shabby) clean the sheers, they were dusty. I think staff tried to make the best of an older outdated hotel. Staff did not seem to know we were IHG members.

This was a good overall choice for my stay. Rooms clean and service was very good. I forgot some cloths items in my room and returned after checkout to find them set aside for me. Reflects on honesty and integrity of staff. The only recommendation I have is to improve the quality of the fitness center. Add a low-impact machine such as an elliptical or stationary bike. Provide sanitary wipes to clean machines after use.

I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, and various cities in America. This was not up to the standards that i am used to from this chain. Upon entering the hotel you are hit with a musty smell that extended not just in the lobby, but also the other floors of the hotel. Once in my room i found numerous hairs in the shower, (possibly from the maid service). The room also had the same smell, throughout my week there the air conditioning also did not work. The last thing that was substandard for a room over $100.00 a night was that it didn't have a refrigerator nor microwave. The internet in the room was not working, you would logon it would stay on for about 15 minutes then it would stop working, I tried it on 5 different devices that I had with me.

Stayed here along a four day, 1,700 mile road trip. Out of all the guest rooms I stayed in along my route this was by far the most comfortable, clean, and relaxing environment. Staff was courteous and quick to help. If I make this trek again, I will be using this Holiday Inn Express.

I have been to a lot of Holiday Inn Express Hotels. This one needs a MAJOR overhaul. Doors throughout are scratched and old. The A/C ran all night and never really got cold, set at 60 degrees. The shower is a complete joke..6'1" tall 195 lb male and the shower head was at about 5'7", could not turn around without rubbing sides of the walls. I personally will not stay here again while in Omaha.

When we checked into our room the pull out couch that was suppose to sleep two would only fit one person comfortably. My husband went to see if they had another room but they were completely book. He went to the car to get something and when he came back into the hotel he heard the person at the desk talking to someone about a cancellation. He stopped and asked if they had a room open now and they gave the room to us. Our 2 teenaged daughters had their own room with a king bed. All was well and everyone was comfortable with enough room to sleep. They were very polite and helpful. Would stay there again.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and offer exceptional service but this hotel needs updating. The lock on my door failed and I had to locate a maintenance man to get it open. On top of that the bathroom is too small, beds old and everything is not up to par compared to other HI Express hotels nearby. I will be looking for other hotels in Omaha in the future.

I've stayed at some really nice Holiday Inn Express hotels and this is not one of them. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but they can't make up for the outdated facilities. The rooms were really bad and I will not be returning until this location gets a MAJOR overhaul!
