Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Freezing Pool Checked with hotel prior to stay to make sure pool was in working order. They said it was. Once we got there, the pool was freezing. Said it was 80 degrees because they had to empty some water out and refilled with cold water. They would not turn up heater to warm it any faster. We were told it would be up to 83/84 by morning. We only had an hour to swim in the morning so I wasn't too happy we couldn't use the pool the night of check in. We went in the morning and the water was still too cold. When your body temp is 98 and the water is 80, it's not pleasant to swim. My 3 year old wouldn't even play in the water because it was freezing. March 10, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Typical HI Express On average, I stay in 30+ hotels a year. I like the value I typically get from the Holiday Inn Express. This one is below the standard that most HI Express' deliver. For instance, the walls are thinner so you hear hall traffic (although it wasn't loud), the bathtub drain was clogged and the tub filled as I took a shower. The shower head was corroded so I couldn't adjust the spray. When I tried to adjust the shower head, the pipe came out of the wall. You could tell this had been done many times before and hotel management was aware of it as they had stuffed rags around the pipe - inside the wall. Front desk personnel were friendly and the room was very clean. I would stay here again, but it's not up to the standard that I expect at a HI Express. February 4, 2015
