Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Comfortable bed! My wife and I found this hotel about a year ago, and we love it! Our daughter goes to college in Deland, so it's a perfect fit for us. We just love how comfortable the bed is, and the breakfast is just an added bonus. We've stayed here several times, and have decided that we will always stay at this location every time we go up to see our daughter. The staff is awesome, they're just so friendly! I always recommend this location to people. May 9, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Stay I had a prepaid room reservation to save $ on my week long stay. Still, the cost of a week stay was not cheap and I was disappointed. When making the reservation no one told me that the hotel would be under renovation throughout my stay. While there was not a lot of noise, there were tarps covering the furniture and floors in the lobby while they painted throughout the week long stay. There was no place to sit and wait for guests to pick me up since the lobby was completely covered and not usable. It would have been nice to know in advance that they were under construction. The room was OK. I am glad to see that they are renovating the hotel as it certainly needs it. Hope they start on the rooms and clean the drapes and carpeting since they left much to be desired. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TOP SHELF If you are in the area this facility has quality service and excellent ammenities. My visit was for two weeks and I must say that the only thing I would improve would be to put HDTV in the rooms. My first week of stay was during Bike Week, so parking was not the greatest but that was to be expected. The hotel is currently under renovation, however the staff and workers are courteous and professional while doing the work which should be completed soon. Excellent location for a variety of restaurants. I wanted to give a special Shout out to "PETE" from Tennessee, I like his professional touch and hospitality by remembering my name each time I came though the door. GM, you have a great staff, take good care of them. I have traveled in numerous of locations, ALL of your folks are definitely top shelf hospitality professionals! April 1, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fine to stay here We stay here when we're visiting my in-laws. It works out fine. Just a few tweaks this time: Fitness room needs to be air conditioned without having to go to the front desk. No remote for the TV. Lots of room in the Fitness room - could have more equipment. Our room - #208, could use a new shower head. Hotel is going thru some renovation right now. Noisy pounding in the morning, but that's the way it goes. Hotels need to upgrade and work is noisy. Understandable I see there's a place to check "Recognition for Priority Club Members" Didn't notice any. Great cookies and milk when we came in March 11, 2013
