We stayed here on our travel to Florida and it was the perfect location. Easy to book online; great staff and comfortable and clean room.

The one downside I had about the room was that the air conditioner was set at 62 degrees which is far too cold for me. They need to set the air conditioner at a more reasonable level e.g. 75 degrees the lowest. The customer can always adjust upon check-in. Other than that the room was fine.
The maids awake you by banging on the door , even when you have the Do Not Disturb sign posted. This has happened on several occasions, startling you and disturbing your sleep. This is very annoying and I have mentioned it before, but it has not been rectified.

No Surprises! When traveling on business, down times are important- Hotel stays are necessary, so overnight stays should have no surprises. This facility does just that. Having stayed there multiple times- each visit is all that I could expect with a HI property.

Nice hotel. Could use some work on the cleanliness. Have stayed here twice in the last 2 months. Both visits had a problem. Brought it to the front desk clerk's attention and we left, so I don't know what the outcome was. It is very convenient to the medical center, which is right down the street.
Would recommend this hotel even with the issues.

First impression of breakfast buffet was this:
. Inattention of gal who manages and cleans the area
. Moldy oranges that had been gthere for 4 to 6 days
. Coffee refills of thermases toooo long
Just an inattentive person who couldn't do the job or keep up with the needs of the guests at breakfast

We were so tired after a day in Charleston that we decided to stop over and rest before continuing on to North Carolina. HIE was a great choice! There were a few things that we were disappointed in but nothing that would cause us not to say we had a great experience. The lights in the pool were not working. It was dark in the pool room but one of the staff was able to get the emergency lights to work which helped out. The pancake machine was out of order for Pancakes at Night! :( However, there were hot, delicious cinnamon buns available and the staff even gave my granddaughter boiled eggs for her late night snack. The room was warmer that we like for sleeping so we turned the temp down to 66 degrees and slept right on!!! What is the IHG Rewards Club Member Recognition? Whatever it is, I did not receive it!
