I had a bad experence the first night. They gave my room to a another customer after I was already in it. At 2:30 am I had someone at my door and a few minutes later they came back, only this time they got in.. Good thing I had the latch closed. They walked away and a few minutes the front desk called wanting to know my name and confirmation #. They thought the room was vacant. I complained the next morning and received a few priority points. I would have been more satisfied had they given me a free night as there was not much sleeping after that incident.

I am from Michigan and took a vacation to the Toledo zoo for Mother's day for my wife and kids. I booked this room ahead of time with a king size bed and Jacuzzi.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was thinking this was going to be like any other standard or sub standard Holiday Inn that I am used to or tolerate in Michigan.
Surprisingly, this Hotel exceeded all of my expectations and really gave me a great feeling. The service was outstanding, the room fresh and clean, the roll-away that I had requested already in the room, the tv channels perfect, as I wanted to watch the Red Wings playoff game on Fox Sports Detroit, and they had it, the Internet service not so great at times, but other than that, this Hotel was perfect!!
We had 2 mix ups but the staff quickly corrected these, one being we were told breakfast closed at 10am when really it closed at 9:30am. When my wife and 3 children arrived, even though it was about 9:45am, the lady there warmed us up some of the food already put away and stopped to attend to our needs. This was great. Another was I was unaware and/or never told that the roll away would be an extra 10.00 but they took it off my bill anyways without a problem.
I would RECCONMNEND this hotel to ANYONE. We simply loved this hotel and was a complete change from the hotels and service we are used to or tolerate in Michigan. Thank you Holiday Inn Toledo-Oregon. This was simply amazing!

This was our first stay in the area so we had no idea where to grab a quick dinner. The front desk staff was very helpful, giving us several ideas and the food was great where we had dinner.
We were in the area to bird at Magee Marsh so we were up early to grab some breakfast and hit the trail. The breakfast area was neat, clean and items were full. The attendant kept her eye on the coffee supply by checking it often and surveyed the food items so she could replenish when needed.
We had long days with our birding adventures and it was awesome to sleep on such a comfortable bed. In a room that was very quiet and roomy.

My husband and I signed up for the Holiday Inn Priority Club Rewards in an effort to take more road trips and do more exploring, in general. This was our third holiday weekend so far this year, and we booked a whirlpool suite for a long weekend, Friday night through Monday morning. We chose Toledo as it is only a couple hours from our home in Michigan, and we wanted to spend a day at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Glass Pavilion, both of which were amazing. Saturday night we had dinner on the Maumee River at the Real Seafood Restaurant, and the food was spectacular...scallops in sherry butter were delicious, as was the lemon cheesecake. Sunday was spent at the First Third Stadium with the Toledo Mudhens. What a great afternoon that was! The whole weekend was lots of fun and very relaxing and enjoyable. It really helped that upon our arrival, the desk clerk, David, gave us a map and highlighted all the routes to the places we told him we wanted to go. Very helpful. The breakfast offerings all three mornings of our stay were terrific, and everything was clean and tidy. Maid service was impeccable, and it was nice how they worked around our schedule so we didn't feel rushed to get out in the morning in order to get fresh towels and the bed made. The towels, might I add were big and fluffy and thirsty and plentiful...with the whirlpool tub, we went through a lot of towels! Again, this was our third stay at Holiday Inn Express, and I couldn't be happier about our decision to choose to stay with you.

We were in Toledo to visit the Hollywood Casino. This facility, although a bit of a distance from the casino, was well worth the slight extra drive. We always look for a facility that provides breakfast, but theirs was way above expectations. The breakfast menu variety was outstanding. Breakfast area was comfortable and had a good amount of space. Breakfast room attendant was very helpful. This alone will cause me to consider Holiday Inn Express for my next trip. Public areas seemed well cared for and inviting to guests. The room was great. We will definitely stay at this facility again!

We spent nights here at Toledo-Oregon HIE and enjoyed our stay VERY much !!! The hotel was quite, the beds were very comfortable, the parking was convenient, the restaurants were nearby, the highway was nearby, a church was convenient to get to, the breakfast buffet was well stocked the front desk was very courteous!!! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit !!!

The Employees at the Hotel are the best. Stacy is a great manager. David is the best at the front desk and should be trained to be the a GM! I stay at the hotel alot and have never had a bad memory. Thanks to all at the hotel.
