My husband and I signed up for the Holiday Inn Priority Club Rewards in an effort to take more road trips and do more exploring, in general. This was our third holiday weekend so far this year, and we booked a whirlpool suite for a long weekend, Friday night through Monday morning. We chose Toledo as it is only a couple hours from our home in Michigan, and we wanted to spend a day at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Glass Pavilion, both of which were amazing. Saturday night we had dinner on the Maumee River at the Real Seafood Restaurant, and the food was spectacular...scallops in sherry butter were delicious, as was the lemon cheesecake. Sunday was spent at the First Third Stadium with the Toledo Mudhens. What a great afternoon that was! The whole weekend was lots of fun and very relaxing and enjoyable. It really helped that upon our arrival, the desk clerk, David, gave us a map and highlighted all the routes to the places we told him we wanted to go. Very helpful. The breakfast offerings all three mornings of our stay were terrific, and everything was clean and tidy. Maid service was impeccable, and it was nice how they worked around our schedule so we didn't feel rushed to get out in the morning in order to get fresh towels and the bed made. The towels, might I add were big and fluffy and thirsty and plentiful...with the whirlpool tub, we went through a lot of towels! Again, this was our third stay at Holiday Inn Express, and I couldn't be happier about our decision to choose to stay with you.

We were in Toledo to visit the Hollywood Casino. This facility, although a bit of a distance from the casino, was well worth the slight extra drive. We always look for a facility that provides breakfast, but theirs was way above expectations. The breakfast menu variety was outstanding. Breakfast area was comfortable and had a good amount of space. Breakfast room attendant was very helpful. This alone will cause me to consider Holiday Inn Express for my next trip. Public areas seemed well cared for and inviting to guests. The room was great. We will definitely stay at this facility again!

We spent nights here at Toledo-Oregon HIE and enjoyed our stay VERY much !!! The hotel was quite, the beds were very comfortable, the parking was convenient, the restaurants were nearby, the highway was nearby, a church was convenient to get to, the breakfast buffet was well stocked the front desk was very courteous!!! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit !!!

The Employees at the Hotel are the best. Stacy is a great manager. David is the best at the front desk and should be trained to be the a GM! I stay at the hotel alot and have never had a bad memory. Thanks to all at the hotel.

Not only did I receive a warm welcome at check-in, but also got a good recommendation for dinner. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, but on my last stay the general manager went above and beyond when I reported a lost item. She not only checked immediately, but she also kept me advised as they were looking. And, thankfully, the item was recovered and sent back right away.
This will be my only choice on every trip to this area.

We decided to take a last minute road trip to the Toledo Zoo over spring break. We focused more on great places to stop and eat before researching places to stay. However, the moment we entered the lobby of this Holiday Inn Express we knew we could relax. We were greeted by friendly staff and felt very welcome. It was very obvious there was nothing to worry about regarding cleanliness. Our kids enjoyed the pool, we loved the fact that there was a store right there and our room/beds were very clean and comfortable. The full breakfast was a nice surprise as well. Never expected all that good food. Special thanks to the lady who prepared it as she was very attentive in making sure we were enjoying it. We were very happy to have found Toledo-Oregon Holiday Inn Express. THANK YOU

My overall experience at the Holiday Inn was outstanding. The staff was very accommodating. No problems with the rooms or the rate. Will choose this hotel again for my next stay in Toledo.

The staff is friendly and customer oriented. Good value but the fitness center needs attention and upgrading. Some equipment has been out of order for 6 weeks.

I grew up in Toledo not far from this hotel. This is a great location - grocery store, drugstore, lots of restaurants, freeway access, and hospital are all right there. Walk to the liquor store a few steps from the hotel entrance. Hotel is set back from Navarre Avenue so no traffic noise. The first time I stayed there I arrived late in the evening and the music coming from Yeeha's Pub and Grub (which is next door to the hotel) was really loud. I was worried it would keep me awake, but it wasn't a problem at all - I couldn't even hear it once I got into my room (which was on the side of the hotel facing the bar). The rooms are clean and, God bless Holiday Inn, there are several good-sized shelves in the shower for your shampoo, conditioner, etc. No trying to find space on the edge of the tub or constantly knocking products onto the floor. May seem like a minor thing to rejoice over, but sometimes it's those little things that make a difference. Another plus: they don't stint on towels. Also greatly appreciated having both a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.
Since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, I do wish they would keep the complimentary breakfast available for an hour longer for those of us on vacation who are out late and sleep in.
Also - and this is a problem in many hotels - the room keys constantly deactivate. I keep them in the cardboard sleeve, I don't put them anywhere near my cell phone or car keys, and I still find myself standing in front of my third floor hotel room door at 2:00 a.m. loaded down with packages and cursing the red light that flashes when I swipe my key. With all the amazing technology available, I can't understand why no one has figured out how to make this type of key work.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Oregon, Ohio.

Good room and great staff. Followed their recommendation for a great local steak. Was disappointed with the breakfast, usually a big plus with Holiday Inn Express. Loose the ground ham patty, it was awful (full of hard stuff); juice was just colored water (taste it before you serve it); coffee not that good either. Other than that, the hotel is quiet, new,and in a nice area. Convenient to food, gas, Meijers, and I-280.

I have been staying at this hotel since last year, have always had great service, lots of stores close by, rooms are clean, the staff has been very courteous and helpfull. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice and quiet, thought we were the only ones staying here. We were surprised in the morning to see other people in the hallway, elevator and at breakfast. Tucked back off the road so there was no 'traffic noise'. And we especially liked that we could open the window if we wanted.

From the time we walked in, we could tell that this hotel was above average. The exterior was clean and had plenty of parking. The lobby was one of the nicest I've ever seen in a hotel and the staff was very nice and knew exactly what our needs were. I was impressed before I even got to my room.
The room was very spacious, quiet and clean. Very close to restaurants, stores, and activities for yourself and your family.
LOVED the breakfast... No doubt~ I'll be back.

We chose this locaiton due to its proximity to where I needed to be. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. But the room was very old and smelled very stale. I even opened the window to air it out.

Our room on this visit appeared to be clean, but later in the evening while brushing her teeth my wife noticed in the mirror a bathing suit hung over the shower curtain rod. Hanging a swim suit to dry is not unusual and I am sure whomever left it did so by mistake. It did make me question though how throughly the room had been cleaned if housekeeping did not notice it.
When we checked out, we left the bathing suit at the front desk in case the owner called to ask if it had been turned in. We were a liitle taken aback when the hostess asked my wife, "It's not yours?". Why would she turn in a bathing suit to the desk that belonged to her? No apology was made or explaination offered as to why the suit was in the room.
This is just a little unusual for this particular hotel, as we have stayed there in the past and enjoyed our stay. This particular trip made me a little uneasy with the cleanliness though.

This hotel is by far the best hotel in the general area. I have stayed at others and they don't compare. In fact, most Holiday Inns and Expresses should take some advice from this location. Aside from the great service and clean rooms, the area where this hotel is located is great. After my days at work, I had several places to eat and relax. Love this place. Coming back next week.
