Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 4th Floor is a Smoking Floor! - Rooms smelll like cigarette smoke. Arrived at 7PM in the evening of Thursday April 25th. Our room was paid for two weeks prior and the room was not clean. We had to wait 40 minutes before we could check in. Paid for a non-smoking room and the minute we walked out on the 4th floor you could smell the cigarette smoke. Other customers immediately went back into the elevator and asked to be changed. I insisted that we had paid for a non-smoking room and the front desk informed us that this room is a non-smoking room however there are several rooms on the 4th floor that are smoking rooms. Any room on the 4th floor needs to be rented as a smoking room as the smoke goes into the hallway. We were moved to the third floor after DEMANDING that we be moved. I have extreme asthma and can't stay in a hotel that has allowed smoking. I travel quite often and will be asking more questions about allowed smoking areas or smoking rooms. May 5, 2013

This was the second time we stayed there this month as we were traveling to and from Las Vegas. We were there on Saturday night so we could not have the free breakfast since it does not start until 7 on Sundays. The chair in the room is really not very comfortable , however that would not stop us from staying at this property on our next trip. May 3, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Pool, No PBS stations Our first evening at the pool was punctuated with other guests - one of whom was a squealing 4 year old. Yuk. But not the hotel's responsibility. She appeared the second morning, too. Again - not the hotel responsibility. However, the 3rd night - after a long day at BYU graduation and graduation dinner and looking foward to relaxing in the pool and hot tub, we were surprised that a kids birthday party had been booked to use the hotel pool, even though the hotel was booked to capacity. The kids did not have adult supervision INSIDE the pool room, however - the front desk monitored them (without sound.) They were extraordinarily loud (and I know loud - I raised 4 boys) - even when asked by the hotel staff to quiet down. It was so loud, you had to shout into the ear of the person you were talking to in order to be heard. It was extremely frustrating until the party finally left, to the relief of my party (we had two suites rented) and a few other hotel guests. Also - a TV receiver was out, so none of the PBS stations worked, making it difficult to keep the smaller children occupied while the adults got ready. A rather frustrating stay at a hotel that we have enjoyed staying at in the past. May 3, 2013

Neither of the two PBS stations was available. We complained to the front desk, but management was unable to get the satellite company to respond. April 13, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice new facility with all the amenities. This new motel was the first choice for us on our return trip from Las Vegas to Boise due to previous positive experiences at other Holiday Inn Express facilities. The location is ideal as it is far enough away from the freeway to avoid virtually all traffic noise. It is also relatively close to a variety of eateries located on the other side of the freeway. As is expected, all staff are courteous and quick to accommodate every need, particularly in this case where clean bath towels were the missing items. They were delivered immediately. The stay was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was also excellent, as usual. March 24, 2013

Checked out late one day early and the staff would not work with me on taking partial credit or something just blunt and rude. Advised that I would write a bad review and there was no concern about it. March 20, 2013
