The comfortable beds and clean room made for a good night's sleep. Isn't that what everyone wants? The breakfast was more than adequate and check out was quick.

Although we stayed for only one night, we were very happy with the value we received, from the very courteous and helpful staff to the comfort and coziness of the room. It was exactly what we were looking for and it came at the right price.

Only in town a short time. Went to universal after check-out. Wish we would have booked for another evening. This hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly. Watch the hotel capacity. If you think they are busy, make sure you hit the breakfast early. Waiting too long results in many people trying to get breakfast and then get off to Universal.
This hotel is in a tourist area. Kind of tacky but fun. However, many things to do that are just a short walk away. Many food choices to fit all taste and budgets. We felt very safe walking. If you are going to Universal I have two suggestions. One, buy your tickets prior to arriving at the park. There is a self-service ticket machine by the elevators. Second huge tip. Take a cab to Universal. Between the parking fee and walk from the parking garage it will be well worth your time.

I was surprised to not experience something I've always looked forward to at Holiday Inn Express Hotels, very hot water for a shower. No matter how long I ran the water, it never increased in temperature beyond tepid. This was disappointing. Usually, there is very hot water available in great abundance at HIE's. Perhaps this place was too worried about the comfort of their wallet in their pocket rather than the comfort of their guests.
The chair in my room was broken. I called down to the front desk and was assured I'd have a new one the next day. Well, no new chair the next day on my return. When I left for dinner, I told the front desk person face to face and again was assure it would be taken care of. I returned from dinner and the same chair was still occupying the desk area. I personally removed the chair from the room, took it down 6 flights on the elevator and delivered it to the front desk with a request for a function chair. About 45 minutes later I had a functioning chair. Wow, what kind of service is this?
Well, it is up to the manager to take care of the guests ultimately and in this case, no hot water, broken chair, the manager failed.

The elevators are very slow. I missed the sausage gravy and biscuits commonly found on HI breakfast choices.

Breakfast Time was not up to Holiday Inn Standards. There were no hard boiled eggs, the waffle machine did not work, there were no napkins, and they ran out of butter. Vouchers should have been given to one of the local restaurants.

This was definitely not a Holiday Inn Express like what I am used to. Beds were uncomfortable, rooms very dated. Hotel lost power for the better part of a day, the elevators were broken as well. The hotel really needs to be upgraded to be called an HI Express. I think there are much better choices of hotels in this price range - I will say that the staff was very helpful. They were very friendly and they were the best part of my stay here.

This hotel is located right in the heart of International Drive which makes it a perfect location for tourists. The staff was very friendly and courteous and were very accommodating. The service was great at the hotel as well as during breakfast. We had originally intended on staying longer, but, we ended our stay early because it did not have a heated pool. We flew in from Canada for the heat and were quite disappointed (and it seems to be the only Holiday Inn Express in Orlando and Tampa that does not have a heated pool). Otherwise, I would highly recommend this location and would return again (in the summer).

I am a priority club member and i had reservation. The male staff did not even greet or even consider us waiting (when no one else is there).. he was just doing his work with papers.. after 5-10 minutes, he asked "What you want?"... after telling him that i need to check in and told my name,,, he took the room card and prepared it slowly and gave it to me and showed the direction to the elevator in hand.. did not even speak a bit... he didnt even tell me any details regarding the hotel or anything... i asked few questions and he gave be 1 word answer//yes/no... we were disappointed how we were treated... some kind of discrimination...

Compared to other HI express, we find this hotel a very good deal overall especially for Florida. The staff are great, the rooms have been good and love the location just down the road from Dunkin Donuts and all the other attracions on I- Drive.. Front desk have bee great to give us upgrades at platinum members as available. Only slight downfall recently was due to unheated pool could not go swimming and it did not get alot of sun. We were also disappointed the hot tub was out of order. Highly recommend the hotel for a leisurely stay. Will be back, whether all brightter here than at home .

My one night stay was excellent. This hotel is superior to other holiday inns I have stayed with in the Orlando area. My room was clean and well prepared checkout was seamless. The buffet was well stocked and properly maintained despite the crowd.

The water took a very long time to get hot, and my reservations were confused by the operator. Upon my arrival, my room was not ready and I was told rather rudely and bluntly that there was nothing that could be done, and I had to spend an extra $100 on another room. I received no apology, or discount on my room. AFTER driving 10hrs, I would prefer not to be met with rudeness, blame, and difficulty.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Beds were hard and pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast was average but it was convenient to have it there. All in all, a decent place to stay while in town for busines..

The hotel staff was great, the breakfast well stocked and fresh, the room clean and neat. The only thing not perfect was that the room was not as roomy as I would have liked it to be, and as I have had in other Holiday Inn Express locations.

Broken hydraulic desk chair informed to front desk first day: never fixed. We were 4 in the room and all four days we had to go to the front desk for a fourth towel. Hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast nothing to sneeze about but it can still be considered good. Fitness rm needs more equipment. All in all, I recommend it.

The primary reason that I picked this hotel was the business center.
Only 1 of the 2 computers was able to get AOL so that I access my email and work.
The business ceter was continually full of kids on facebook.
I need a business ceter where I can work.
The key letters on the key borads were missing numerous letters which made it very dificult.
A new key borad cost $10?

there was a party on the 9th floor with loud latin music and lots of people jumping and screaming, we were on the 6th floor and we could listen everything, we called the front desk many times and nothing was made, the knoc knoc knoc on the floor caused by the womens shoes was so annoying that I had to go downstairs at 1 AM to fight with them, I almost called the police! they said they could do nothing because somebody had rented the place to make the party.
At 1:30 I called the 1-800 phone that I found on holiday inn webpage, and told them about the problem, they called the front desk to try to solve the problem, almost 2 AM they propose to give us another room, they putted us in a conference room in the second building because the hotel was full, it was OK to sleep but considering the stress and that we would have to wake up at 5:30 AM, we slept almost nothing... this was the worse night in a hotel in my whole life, I was happy in being a priority member, but now I am not sure anymore, I could consider staying in the program if they at least refund me the night LOST at this hotel and an apology letter would be appreciated.

We go to Universal 4 to 6 times a year and found this hotel soon after it opened. It is convenient to the theme park and still a new hotel. Worth the stay.

The stay at the hotel was great and the beds were very comfortable as well as clean. One of the pros was that it was in walking distance to restaurants. The breakfast was good and we had different choices.
