Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Too much for to little Unfortunately there are few hotel choices in this city, and this location seems to take advantage of this situation. I believe the price paid is to much for the condition of the hotel and rooms. Out dated, and apparently an older location based upon the condition of the property. Hall ways smell of smoke (1st floor anyway). For the rate being charged, I felt this was a poor value. December 20, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overall upkeep needs attention The place looked run down. Had worn out look and it just wasnt the usual Holiday Inn that one is used to. However, staff was courteous and breakfast offering was good. Mattress was too soft to have a good night sleep and fitness room could be equipped at least a tad better (bench for weights would be a great addition). The elevator was repeatedly dirty with a lot of dirt/soil on multiple occasions. December 14, 2014

I am sorry, but I cannot remember the name of the night receptionist when I arrived, but she was very kind and friendly and said that everything was ready for me. I had just come off of a 6 hour drive....I was ready for a bed! For the following days, the staff was the same. I would come in and they would ask how I was. I do not know if they knew why I was there (I was attending a funeral for a friend). I am not sure if they sensed it or if they are always like that, relaxed, quiet, welcoming and comforting. It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel. December 12, 2014
