The property is very nice and up to date. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only challenge was the property is behind retail and eating establishments so it is difficult to see and GPS had trouble navigating to the front door.

The room was large and very comfortable -- and clean. I also found the staff at the front desk to be helpful and friendly.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but if your looking for a nice hot breakfast before you hit the road, you won't find it here. I wanted to fill my water bottle thinking that they would have pitchers of cold water available and was told I could find ice on the second floor and water at the water fountain.

Our trip was basically an enjoyable experience. Better sound proofing would have made it much more so. The staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and up to date.

I bounce around different hotels in the KC area when I travel on business. I may have found a home. The staff was very friendly and helpful - Kudos to Becci - and the breakfast differed daily. The room was comfortable and the bed & pillows allowed me a great night's sleep. The property is located very near a variety of restaurants and shops. The only (minor) thing is that there is only one elevator for 4 floors and a few times the wait seemed longer than average.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower is a little narrow, but overall, this hotel is a good value. I recommend it.

While on vacation we stayed at several Holiday Inn Expresses. We found the rates varied greatly from place to place - in a state like Kansas we thought we would get a lower rate than some of the HI's that were close to major attractions. Our rate at this HI was a little higher than others. We were told one price but when I checked our bank online we saw that we had been charged $25 more than we were told....when I complained I was told it was a 'holding fee' (just in case there were issues, purchases, etc) and would be returned at end of stay. We had NEVER had this happen before and no one had mentioned it prior to billing it. After I complained I checked our online account again and the $25 had been reversed. Were we going to be overcharged if I had not complained? Was someone trying to pull a fast one on us?
