Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, modern, and comfortable Newer hotel (about 2 years old) and still feels that way. Rooms are very clean and modern as well as the main areas. Staff was excellent, very friendly and I saw other guests enjoying the pool with their children. There are no bathtubs (which I am fine with), instead there is a walk in shower. Unfortunately the shower itself takes up much of the bathroom and it makes the bathroom feel very small. The shower is also pretty small and dark. BUT plenty of warm water and again very clean and modern. Breakfast is average, yogurt, pancake machine, "scrambled" eggs, cinnamon rolls, cereal and a few other things. Not bad and appreciated, but nothing to write home about. We will be staying here again - great hotel! January 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Newer property in Overland Park This Inn is about 6 miles east of I-35 however it is worth the drive as it appears to be a newer property that is very clean and well maintained. We had a large King suite with a walk-in shower. The room was quiet and the heater/AC unit was also quieter and more efficient than usual. There are plenty of restaurant choices in the area. The breakfast buffet was typical for a Holiday Inn Express but the trays were full and the pancake maker actually worked! There is a small fitness room on the ground floor with only a few pieces of equipment and no free weights. January 4, 2015

This Overland Park hotel exceeding my expectations in service, cleanliness and staff hospitality. They go out of their way here to accommodate your needs. Customer Service may be going by the wayside in other areas of our life....but NOT here. December 23, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Call Ahead There was no hot water for myself and many of my co-workers. The manager called me later and explained it was due to 'too many people showering at the same time'. It was a nice, clean hotel, fairly new and in a very convenient location. I was excited to stay here due to the location and reputation of Holiday Inn. Perhaps I will stay elsewhere next time.
