But would it be my first choice: No. I found the breakfast to be mediocre (though pretty standard for Holiday Inn Express) and the room comfort to be the same. I will give the staff credit for switching my room when my AC wasn't working properly, though it took 2 service calls to make that happen. September 28, 2015

He snapped at us when we asked a question about the check in, and then he became verbally aggressive. We fled to our room, and he didn't give us the internet password. We just wanted to get away from him. Other than that, it was a very good hotel - the quality we expect from Holiday Inn. September 24, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok hotel, bad location. The hotel itself was what you would expect from a Holiday Inn, however it's location left a lot to be desired. The hotel was located near some sort of creek, or septic system, that left a smell both inside and outside the hotel. Also, the area that the hotel is in has a lot of closed/vacant businesses, which takes away from the hotel. Another thing that caught my attention was the hotel staff, the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, but the owners of the hotel came in, and made it very clear that they were concerned about making money, and so forth, as they very loudly asked the front desk staff questions about how full the hotel is. I realize that it is a business, but it was unexpected to have them do that while guests were present. Also, the person in charge of the breakfast area always stayed in front of the fridge that held yogurt etc, and would watch guests as they went to the breakfast bar, almost as if she was trying to discourage guests from using it. Overall, Wichita has other hotels, so in the future I plan on using them and not this one. September 18, 2015
