Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This Location gives Holiday Inn Express a horrible reputation Bottom Line, DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION. This particular property gives the Holiday Inn Express brand a horrible name. My family and I were traveling through on our way home from military training that I had been participating in out in Arizona for two months. When we arrived, the entrance lobby floor was sticky and the carpet's were in dire need of being swept. The male employee manning the front desk appeared either ambivilant about his job or he had just woken up from a nap because it took much longer than necessary to check us in. Throughout the first and floor which we stayed, carpet from stained and in need of being swept. Inside the room, it appeared that carpet had been laid hapharzardly over uneven wood or concrete. You could feel severe dips in the carpet as you walked over it. The room also looked to have recently been converted from a two queen bed room into a one king bed room so holes were noticeable in the wall from where fixtures and pictures used to hang. Inside the bathroom, lighting was too low. The tub had been poorly repaired from what looked like a crack in the side. Someone must have gone to the local Wal Mart instead of hiring a professional because the putty to fix the crack was lumpy, uneven, and the wrong color. The next morning, we got up and proceeded downstairs to eat breakfast. Horrible idea. The front entrance area was still in horrible condition and the younger female employee at the front desk was more interested in texting on her phone than assisting guests. Inside the breakfast area, tables were sticky and not cleaned, none of the food items had been restocked, the fruit available was moldy and the female attendant who was suppose to be managing that area was sitting down eating while watching a movie on the television that was not appropriate for anyone under the age of 17. We managed to obtain some yogurt and orange juice but everything else was either not restocked or unedible due to poor cooking preparation. I understand it is an included breakfast and not five star quality, but have some respect for what you put out. Other than the bed being halfway comfortable and the location right off the highway, this particular hotel is awful. Choose more wisely than I did and find a hotel that can meet basic standards of living. December 18, 2014

I really perfer very firm pillows but they are probably great for most people. extremely easy access to hwy169 and a great staff. would recommend! December 16, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I don't recommend The room smelled VERY bad. Bed was not comfortable at all, barely slept. The breakfast area was so small....I couldn't believe it. The whole interior of the entire place needed updated. I always stay at Holiday Inn hotels for business and pleasure. This is the worst Holiday Inn I have ever seen PERIOD. December 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Owassa Holiday Inn - Great Pillows I stayed for one night at this hotel and it was a pleasant experience and had great rates. It is easy access off of highway and close to surrounding restaurants. The pillows were excellent for sleeping and in fact, I would like to order some. They had extra outlets directly next to the bed so you can easily plug in your phone to charge and have it next to you. This hotel was quiet and I would definitely recommend it. December 5, 2014

The shower was a little difficult to figure out -- you pull down on the bottom of the spout to turn it on -- but the water pressure was great. Enjoyed our stay. And the warm cookies were yummy! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Little More Light Please! The breakfast area was a little cramped and VERY dark. The lighting was so dim you could hardly tell what you were eating. Reading the newspaper while you ate was not possible. Overall, this is a great place to stay and i will stay here again, although I may take a flashlight to breakfast! November 27, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast Good Stay. Only suggestion: Why start breakfast so late? Breakfasts starts at 6:30 (and the manager was very emphatic that it did not start until then. I stay at the hotel because I work with Whirlpool Corporation down the street. We often want to start our day at the facility before 6:30, so eating at the hotel is just not an option.
