Hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. Carpets and furniture in rooms are worn and dated. Bathroom not adequately cleaned, mold and mildew in tub. Front desk tried to adress problems with the lack of hot water in the shower but took a few days to fix the problem. The guest computer in lobby was not working.
On my last visit to this hotel the fire alarm went off late at night due to "too much steam from the shower" and the elevator was not working. We had to use the stairs our entire stay. I will not be returning.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Oxford area. The bathroom was gross and had moldy spots in the bath/shower. There was a dirty potholder and a bag of half eaten chips in one of the cabinets. When we went to check out the special pancake night the room was dark and there were half plates of pancakes on the tables. I expected a clean hotel for the money.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Love being greeted by the freshly baked smell of chocolate chip cookies on the reception desk as we enter. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms well stocked with products and towels.
I would like better lighting in the bathroom and a ventilation system for steam removal.
The staff in the dining room are friendly and stay on top of refurbishing the food. There is a nice variety of food available for eating in or taking back to the room.

All clerks need training in problem with parking. It was one of the most frustrating things I have experienced in a long time. First, not knowing where I could park safely and then fearful that my vehicle might be towed.
