My wife and I travel a good part of the year and have the opportunity to stay at a variety of places, and quite frequently HIE. The ammenities are usually the same, always clean similarly designed. What sets them apart is the customer care.
This experience was excellent. We were a last minute late arrival. We had called the front desk from the road, an hour out. She was gracious, helpful and you could tell in her voice she enjoyed her job and making people feel good about their stay. When we arrived she had ended her shift, but the young man at the counter greeted us by name and made us feel right at home. The next morning the lady in the breakfast area was equally as helpful and you could also tell she enjoyed serving the guests.
Kudo's to the owners for employing people who enjoy what they do and inspiring them to be the best that they could be.

The staff were wonderful. Also, had cookies at 8 PM, which is always a plus. Wonderful full breakfast bar. Convenient location just off interest ate and 3 restraunts within walking distance. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent in every way! We were very impressed with this hotel. Many extra amenities, such as a water filter, paper towels, refrigator, and microwave. Most comfortable beds. Kudos to the kind and friendly staff.

I asked for a reccomendation for dinner and was given a number of choices. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We loved this Holiday Inn Express! The staff is so welcoming. They are eager to greet you when you walk through the door. Smooth, easy check in. The bottled water when you check in is an added touch of hospitality. Our room was super clean. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of lancets, extra pillows, etc. there woven microwave popcorn in our room. We have a family of 5, so one bag didn't do us. They gave us a few extra complimentary bags. The breakfast...oh my goodness...it was excellent. With anything you could want from sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, muffins, bagels, etc...my daughter told me I should make her breakfast like that every day! The pancake maker machine is neat...my kids touched the button and like magic, two pancakes appeared a minute later...they really think they made their own pancakes. The breakfast staff was super friendly also. Se really took time and talked to my kids. Will stay here every time we need a little getaway to Paducah. Did I mention the bedtime cookies and milk? Perfect way to send my kids off to bed. We love it!

We were passing through town when our van broke down.
We stopped at the hotel and were given a fair rate.
The girl at the front desk was super friendly and helpful - she gave us the card of a local shop where we could get our van fixed.
Room was newly remodeled .... Super clean.
This is our hotel of choice now when passing through that area.

Unlikely that I will return due to poor wireless Internet connection. I spent 7 nights in 5 different HIEx rooms, and the wireless service was, by far, worse in this room than any other. Annoyingly poor.

The hotel was beautifully designed and breakfast was supreme but the staff was the most impressive of all the amenities. I have stayed in countless hotels, many of which were very high priced. Although cleanliness is my number one priority, the friendliness and professionalism of staff is equally important. In all of my stays, I can honestly say the staff at this hotel is the best I have ever encountered. Absolutely everyone was friendly, courteous, accomodating and professional. I wish I knew why there is such a difference with this specific Holiday Inn Express. The management must be doing something right!! Whatever it is, I truly appreciate the wonderful stay. I will be back and I will send everyone I know who is coming your way. Ten stars for you!!!

We have been going to this Holiday Inn for the last 15 years for Thanksgiving. Everyone has always helped us, making us feel at home, giving us 110%. We are usually there for 5 days and eveyone on all shifts are very helpful : )

I can't wait until the new one is finished just behind. I am sure the quality and caring staff now will easily transfer to the new one. I am very glad to hear that there will still not be a restaurant inside. The Holiday Inns I have stayed at having a restaurant are very slow and inconvenient.

My wife and I did a road trip to introduce family to our newborn baby girl. Our last night of the road trip back to home was at this hotel, and it was GREAT! We reserved the King bed with whirlpool tub, and it was a very large and comfortable room. The hotel was very clean and quiet, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had a great night sleep, and were very glad we decided to stay here. Also, the hotel is pet friendly, so we had our 15# dog with, and had no issues. There was no odor of dog/animals in the room, or anywhere else, so it was nice to know this hotel does a great job cleaning.

The staff behind the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were on our way to Tennesee and we were in hopes we would be able to stay there again on our way back through. We come thru Puducah every year and will definately stay there again. I love the "Southern Hospitality."

After driving nearly 800 miles, our tired bodies needed a restful stop. We found it here. Upon entering the hotel, the staff was all smiles and very friendly. The room given to us was on the second floor. I mention this only due to the slight noise level emitting from the upper plumbing when used. This was tolerated because of the King Suite we were given. The next morning the Breakfast was tasty, the staff very polite and even asked if we would like to have anything to go. We loved this hotel and will come back.
