Everything was average, breakfast, room, pool.....etc. the staff was the problem. The young man that presented me with my bill was offended because I tried to point out that a mistake had been made in the billing. Other employees from my agency staying at the same hotel, were billed on my credit card and needed to have separate bills. He said he could not change the bill and later called my employment and said I was rude to him. Which in turn got me in hot water for misrepresenting our agency. I would suggest that the front desk be staffed by individuals that can accept responsibility for any situation, especially when it is a mistake on their part. We usually try to stay at this holiday inn while we are in town and have never been treated this way before anywhere else.

I had a pleasant stay here. Well worth the price. The staff was friendly, knowlegeable, and helpful. As a priority club member, I was given a bag of treats which included water bottles and snacks (cookies and crackers). The room had a good-sized fridge and microwave. The rooms were clean as expected. They were able to give me great recommendations and directions for the Antelope Canyon tour, Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam, and nearby restaurants. There were many options for breakfast. I am a vegetarian and had plenty to choose from - both hot and cold. There is a neat pancake machine instead of waffles. I think I was here during off-peak season so it wasn't too crowded. Overall great experience and I would stay again.

This was our third Holiday Inn Express stay in three nights so I was able to compare it with the two we had previously stayed at. This one was the worst. It could use some updating. First, the hot and cold were mixed up on the sink faucet. Second, the walls are super thin. We heard a baby cry all night. Third, there was no worker at the breakfast in the morning to ask for help. Finally, the front desk lady was not very friendly at all. The only nice thing I can say is they do have rooms that can sleep 6 people. I am not sure I would stay here again.

Possibly the worst HIE property I ever stayed at, and I have been an avid user of HIE since its inception
I found remaining items of previous guests in drawers
The toilet was not set properly on the floor and the inside was used so bad that it was past cleanable. A real shame.
Otherwise the suite was large and quite comfortable, and the price was quite good considering the accomodation.
Too bad somebody is doing a terrible job of upkeep.

We have stayed at this facility many times over the last ten years, almost always without making an advance reservation. This time, we made the reservation for two rooms in advance. When checking in, the room rate we were charged was several dollars higher than what the online confirmation said. The clerk was challenged with a copy of the online reservation and adjusted the rates.
The room above ours apparently had a large or heavy occupant as every step that person took caused a crunching or creaking sound, a sound that we heard prior to going to sleep and a sound that woke us at 5:15 AM as the person got ready to depart.
This was not a great stay.

I did not have a reservation but stopped just for the night. Overall I thouht this location was not up t par as most other HIE I have sayed at. But I realize that in peak season, the clientel might be the students out for the summer. There were two chairs and a round table but I would have preferred an easy chair to relax in. So just my preferences.
When I checked in the girl working the desk told me there was a room available with two queen beds, making it sound as though that was my only choice but then before completing the booking told me there was another room with just one king bed. So I choose that. She acted as though I was interrupting her which I did when I walked in through the front door. She was talking with some guy but when he saw me, he left.

We typically stay at a Holiday Inn Express (about 20 a year). We usually expect a certain level of cleanliness and comfort. But this is not what we received in this hotel. It is by far the worse Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed.

I was staying in Room207. I was awaken at about 6am+ when someone in Room307 started walking up and down his room. This whole incident lasted till about 9am. It was really a bad experience for me!
