There was no Microwave in the room..
the bathroom seemed under construction...
the Door lock was a issue..
The A/c was cutting off often...
Maybe after the renovation things will be better.

Great to see the renovations at the property. We were the first in our room and found a few minor glitches, but so glad to see a "new" property to stay in as we use HIE often. Employees were very courteous upon check-in and while we were there. When traveling in the area, we will definately keep this property in mind for a return stay.

This stay was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE , room was dirty, carpet and furniture stained. Diffidently not Holiday Inn express quality. Worst stay I've had in a long time !!

Only stayed one night to attend a function in the area. The staff was friendly and courteous, the bed to me was very, very comfortable. No outside sounds. The breakfast was worth the stay. Scrambled eggs, hot Danish and pancakes among other things.
Facility is under construction. Didn't hear or see any workers on the weekend. Looks like the pool needs a little work but didn't use it because of a quick stay. Convenient off of 95. Overall - I would stay here again when visiting the area.

We stayed here on our way to Miami for our anniversary cruise. We arrived in the evening and had a super friendly greeting. When we arrived to the room, the air was off. Another stay where our arrival was to a warm room. This is discomforting to say the least. It did cool down pretty quick. The room was average for size. It did look like it was needing finishing at the wall bases. They were not dressed at the floors, and was seen clearly in the bathroom. We were told that the 3rd floor was under renovations. I do not know if this floor was done already or not, but it was not in great appearance. The bed was one of the tougher to sleep in beds for me. I have definitely had better sleeping nights before.
Then for breakfast... I inquired about the sausage gravy that I always look forward to when staying at a Holiday Inn Express. I was told they did not have it on the menu for that day to have prepared. I was confused, as I always have the gravy with biscuits when staying at this property chain. The food staff said they have a schedule of what is prepared on certain days. I am curious now if I only stay at this hotel chain on the right day, or is this something new to maybe save money??? Needless to say, the staff observed my disappointment, and prepared me some gravy without me asking for anything special as such. It was VERY kind of her and I appreciated it. Being allergic to eggs and not one to care for pancakes, this helped with my breakfast options. This is what I look for at breakfast here.
Overall, this hotel was not bad, just a couple undesired features. Hopefully they are still to finish the room walls at the floor base for appearance and start having the Holiday Inn Express staple of gravy and biscuits for breakfast all the time.
I would still recommend this location.

Even though this property s being renovated, it was still clean and comfortable. The gal at the front desk pointed out a great restaurant to eat at along the coast. Everyone was very friendly and made my stay relaxing.

This Hotel is under construction and that was reflected adequately in the room rate. The business center was being refurbished and there was no computer available for use.
Basically, I received what I expected with a hotel during a remodel with one disturbing exception. I was checked by a poorly dressed desk clerk who did not acknowledge my Priority Club Status and seemed in a hurry to get back to something other than me. I saw two more desk clerks during my stay and although they were friendly, they were dressed in jeans with shirts hanging out. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by the entire hotel staff.
