Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fine, not great, but fine The property and the room were clean and well kept. The breakfast was nice and it was great that they put it out a little early since almost the entire hotel was full of families in town for sports tournaments and we all had to head out early. I wish 2 queens beds were an option. A double is pretty tight to share! and 2 doubles take up the whole room. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was not impressive. Not a smile when we arrived and, although they were quick to respond when we had to ask for assistance, they (there were 2 girls) weren't friendly about it. I had to ask for an extra room key and it seemed like quite an issue! And then when the towels were all gone by the pool, I almost wanted to apologize that she had to get up and call to have more put out. I would stay here again - it met all the basic needs, but we will have to figure out a better way to fit 2 parents and two boys into such tight quarters. January 22, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location with Freindly Staff This was a one night visit to Palm Desert for a specific activity. It was nice that when we arrived early we were able to check in immediately. This gave us time to relax in the room for a while. It also allowed us to find out that the TV was not accessing the HD channels. We called the front desk and a technician arrived within minutes to fix the problem. Having a mini fridge allows us to have our lunch left-overs in a refrigerated place so we could take it home the next day. The only thing we found uncomfortable was the fact that the walls are a bit thin and we could hear the TV and noises from the adjoining room. This is probably because this is an older property. Each room having its own balcony is a plus. Also, the room was very spacious and comfortable. January 15, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel stay Not the best!.. Is below standard. The hotel itself is average, however, the staff needs more training in quality of customer service and needs. Not expecting a 5 star quality, however, if other guests are unusually noisy and if we have to request to have our room cleaned and the front desk person tries to fault you for leaving the do not disturb sign on door, and doesn't accept reasonability and cops an attitude. They should just say sorry and fix the problem...not attempt to put blame on the guest!!!!! January 9, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Manager and staff I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There were three of us and we stayed for 5 nights we had a great time. The Manager Luis was more then helpful too us. We found the rooms to be clean, pool area awesome, and overall the hotel was quiet. We are planning another trip next year and will be staying at this Holiday Inn. Thanks for the good stay. Becky January 6, 2015
