Everything was great... Happy hour was good... Rooms were clean and look new... Front desk staff was friendly and manager was amazing.. Will be staying here again

We stayed in this location the nights of Aug 11 & 12. Both rooms we had were clean and comfortable. The staff quickly responded to our request for a roll away bed. The AC unit was pretty quiet so we were all able to get a good nights sleep. The breakfast was hot and with a good selection of items. All in all, a good place to stop.

We found out after moving into our room that the main entrance door was unable to lock. We were then shuffled next door to a King Suite and given a rollaway bed for one of our kids. The other child had to sleep on the floor. Once we were moved into the King Suite and settled in it was discovered that the bathroom door did not shut and left a crack of about 5 inches where there was no privacy. We were moved into a third room on the second floor and the remainder of the stay was pleasant. I wrote a letter to Management and asked for a copy of it to be given to the GM and the owner.
Once I received my credit card statement I found that not only had I paid cash for my stay, but they had charged my card as well. I called the GM and had her speak to my credit card company on three-way and she all but call them a liar as well. I have been in law enforcement for 18 years and never have I experienced another professional as rude and disrespectful as the one in Pampa. Till this day, Never has she apologized for the inconvenience this has caused me nor told me that she would see to it that they discovered where the problem was. Instead I was informed to dispute the charge through my credit card company because they have no record of the transaction. I have now spent close to 6 hours correcting their mistake

The overall appearance of the hotel was great. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. One complaint is about the pillows...even the 'firm' ones weren't. But this is a problem in just about every hotel I stay in, no matter the chain!
The one complaint I had, which I have emailed them about, was the fact that my personal credit card was used for the room when it was NOT presented at check-in. It was not noticed until after I left and the transaction has already posted, but it should NOT have happened.
I've stayed at this hotel before (two or three other times), so I had prior knowledge of the property and the staff...I would recommend this hotel to others travelling in this area.

The holiday inn express is what you find anywhere. The exception I found with this one was breakfast. I stayed for 2 days and went down for breakfast from 0600-0630. This is a busy place due to the oilfield.
1st day had to wait on eggs and sausage. Never saw bisquits or gravy.
2nd day had bisquits and gravy, no eggs.

Everything was great rooms were clean staff was nice, and pool was warm. Will return when visiting Pampa.
