Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Room, Rude GM We stay at Holiday Inn Express always, we travel a lot for art shows. We choose Holiday Inn Express because we know they are usually clean and have comfortable beds. When we arrived we noticed cigarette butts everywhere , (not just a few but a lot) the plants where dead and hanging out of the pots,, there was other debris everywhere (papers, trash, ect.), The general manager happened to be at the front desk along with the clerk, I had tried to reserve a room on the ground floor, and I guess it was a busy weekend and instead of telling us that,, she was rude and basically snapped! every question I asked after that was also answered in the same manner,,we were shocked!. again the floors and especially the elevator was filthy , there were drips of coffee ect. down the walls and bits of things everywhere,, this was around 3 p.m. we got to our room to see the beds haphazardly made with the skirts of the beds shoved up under the mattresses on the sides closest to the windows, the bathroom was a scary mess, there where drips of stuff that I don't even want to know what they were on the wall on both sides of the toilet, many of them , there where dead bugs and lint type stuff behind the door, some patched up moldy looking hole on the wall , dust all over the shelves and the soap dish in the shower was caked with other peoples soap , Disgusting! so after being griped at earlier by the G.m and told that the place was full,we decided to clean our shower ourselves and go to the hot tub,, got down there only to find it broken and full of dark water. the only thing that was good was the breakfast bar and the sweet lady that ran it, I think her name was Liz . I definitely recommend going somewhere cleaner and friendlier, very disappointing. save your money , might as well stayed in a cheap mom and pop on some roadside. December 8, 2014

Beautiful room, nicer breakfast buffet than other hotels offer, etc. We happened to stay here instead of a cheaper hotel due to my lack of planning. If our budget allowed, we would stay here every time we were in the area. December 1, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed but terrible service The handyman that did the outside work greeted us everyday with genuine warmth and kindheatedness. The remained of the staff were very lackluster. The computer was very slow, only one terminal printed, and the tonal was always low. The church group (Living Word Missionary Baptist Church) that I met there received the church rate. My rate was $20.00 higher than their rate after repeated attempts to change it at the front desk. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not much help I've stayed at this property several times and every time there has been some kind of problem and I always get the "deer in the headlights " look from the staff. I was trying to check in early, about 1:30 and had to leave because there were no clean rooms. Then I could get on line to do any work on my computer. In both cases the staff was confused and had no helpful answers. I stopped down for the Managers Reception. Picked over chicken and nothing to drink. This hotel is a DUD at best. November 22, 2014
