Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and nice people From my first phone contact to the final checkout everyone was attentive and genuinely warm and friendly. The hotel was clean and well maintained. the room was spotless and comfortable. It was especially nice to be able to open the window for fresh air. Breakfast was on the house and was more than adequate with pancakes that actually tasted great plus the regular options from cold cereal to sausage and eggs. A very special surprise was the home cooked meal provided on Wednesday night free of charge. How can you beat that type of interest in the guest!!! December 22, 2014

The opportunity to travel with our family pet was so nice. Our daughter has now become a UNC-P Alumni and she will continue to enjoy her stays during her future Alumni visits! December 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect place to stay in Pembroke I've been in and out of Pembroke since I was a teenager and always thought a hotel was needed. With growth of UNC Pembroke, it's great that there is now a hotel for people coming in to see family and friends. I was thankful the hotel was there, I felt comfortable and safe and though I, as a non-smoker, had to take a smoking room, I needed only to open the window for a day and the smell was gone. In the future, it may be nice to offer people an air freshener or air cleaner system if they have to do that. I would also encourage you to get a shuttle if possible.....it's not an easy (or safe) walk to town. Overall, this was a great hotel and I am glad I stayed there. Looking forward to visiting again eventually!! November 19, 2014
