Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Price and food This Hoiday Inn Express was overpriced for winter rates. The food was the worst we've ever had at a Holiday Inn Express. The cinnamon rolls were hard and the person in our party who ate the sausage got sick. The pancake maker did not work properly. Overall the food seemed to be left too long and just reheated.. It was not what we expect and appreciate Holiday Inn Express to be. February 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I LOVE THIS HOTEL This is such a nice hotel and Roni, the Manager, is terrific and very nice and accommodating. All the staff are so courteous. The rooms and the common areas are clean and very up to date with beautiful furniture that makes it comfortable to visit in the common area. HIE has updated their rooms with new furniture, tv and granite counters. The wifi is good, so if you need that it is very usable. If you are in Pendleton, OR area, this is the place to stay! Breakfast was slow, wifi slower The staff at registration was very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, Tv was modn and we watched a Bowl Game while we relaxed. The WiFi was slow as to be almost non-existent. I know they were trying to restart he routers when I was at the front desk, and as you know, stuff happens. Part of the appeal of these places is their breakfast buffet. Looking at inclement weather, we wanted to get on the road early, and figured we would get a good breakfast starting at 6AM. Most of the food wasn't out until 6:30, but we didn't starve, we just didn't eat the pancakes, the omelettes, etc... Probably for the best, though. Coffee was good. January 3, 2013

The staff is wonderful--remembering us and going out of their way to provide us with all the necessary (and some unnecessary) comforts. The pool and hot tub are a big draw for our niece and provide endless hours of fun. The only thing we'd like to see is more lamps with higher wattages at the bedsides. We read in bed and the lamps aren't sufficient to provide needed light for extended reading. We will keep going back, though, thanks to Roni and her crew! November 29, 2012

Menu is rather limited. Breakfast was ok under the circunstances,ie: the waiter did the cooking (snow storm). But all was good October 28, 2012
