Everything was just as the good reviews said. Very clean, extremely wonderful staff, great breakfast choices, easy parking, easy access to the beach, and the one thing I would add is that the rooms were very spacious for two double beds. We will certainly stay here again.

I had a difficult time deciding between Orange Beach or Gulf Shores and ultimately decided on Pensacola Beach based on the Trip Advisor reviews for this property. While the hotel is pricey for a Holiday Inn Express, it is so worth it! Each room has a Gulf of Mexico view. We slept with the drapes and the balcony door open. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep, and the beautiful view was a great start to the day. Our family decided if the hotel provided lunch and dinner we'd feel like we were on a cruise ship with a balcony!
We loved the fact there are rooms Gulf side only, which means there is no room across the way, instead there are small windows looking out to the bay which provides light in the hallway.
The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to make sure their guests are enjoying themselves. They do a great job of taking care of the property. Everything is immaculate.
Breakfast was typical for a Holiday Inn Express. I love the extended breakfast hours, 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., which helps stagger the crowds. I also appreciated they did not start removing food by 9:30 a.m., rather keeping food out as the last people staggered in. This hotel is all about customer service!
The difference between Margaritaville, and the Holiday Inn Express, Margaritaville is a Resort, with a restaurant and a bar, but there is no free breakfast and the view rooms cost extra. Locationwise, Margaritaville is slightly closer to the restaurants.
The only down fall about Pensacola Beach is there is no local/inexpensive dining on Pensacola Beach. You have to drive to dinner if you don't want to break the bank, or eat burgers all week.

We stayed six nights 3/29 through 4/3 on all occasions of contact with any member of the hotel staff our request was immediately taken care of with professional care. From taking care of a lost room key to providing milk late at night. Towels were always available for the pool, and the pool was always clean. Our room was clean when we arrived and cleaned every day,we really want to thank the maid service staff for a GREAT job done.The people at this hotel are GREAT. If you are going to be in the Pensacola area stay at this hotel if you want GREAT service,yes there are cheaper hotels in town and we haven't stayed in any of them,so we can't say for sure this one is better,but we will never know for ourselves because we will only stay at this hotel when we return to the Pensacola area.

This hotel is located directly on beautiful Pensacola Beach, with it's white sand and green water.
The staff is unbelievably friendly. We did not encounter a staff member who did not greet us with a smile and ask us how we were doing...... to a person, they were polite, professional, and friendly.
Rooms are competively priced, and given the value of the service recieved, it adds up to a great value.

We LOVED this facility. The location and property are beautiful and the view of the gulf was wonderful. The best part was the customer service received from ALLstaff members we came in contact with. This is the BEST service we have ever encountered and would definitely stay again and Rex,mend to anyone.

I was looking for a place to stay with the kids for spring break..i was reading many reviews on hotels..we've stayed in holiday inn express before and always had good experiences..but i must say...the staff here are great..friendly..from morning(melaine and timothy..breakfast staff) til night...all great people!! The view is awesome..and the hotel is close to everything!! Great place to stay.

The staff at this hotel are fantastic, they know it's their job to take care of the guests and it's appreciated! The front desk people, the breakfast area staff, the maid service, even the guy handling the beach rentals. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Well done Holiday Inn! Add to that the great location and great view, this is the place to stay in Pensacola.
Besides the beach, saw the blue angels practice, spent the day at the naval air museum, and went deep sea fishing with Swoop in Destin. All highly recommended!

Breakfast crew was the best. Always helpful, nice and courteous and always had smiles on their faces. Beds and pillows so comfy. Only disappointment...made reservations through priority club service and was told they would request a rollaway for us and the charge would be $30 for the entire stay - upon arrival was told no rollaway and would have been $30 per night.

We just drove up to this hotel and luckily they had one vacancy. Stayed the night and went on, but we're thinking of coming back and staying a week, it was so nice. Every room facing the ocean, and very quiet for sleeping. Great staff, too. Clean room, comfortable bed. Would like a suite next time. Very close in to everything, also. Just wish the pool were heated.

We travel extensively on business and pleasure, world wide. We live on the Florida Panhandle and have our choice of Gulf beach hotel options.
We had an excellent experience at the HIE at Pensacola Beach.
All rooms with Gulf view; right on beach; clean. Most of all, the staff was spectacular. Through all departments, front desk, dining staff, to housekeeping the staff was friendly and helpful. They listened to our questions attentively and cordially answered our questions.
Lots of smiles and absolutely NO attitude. Great job.
We will come back and recommend this hotel to others.

We are Holiday Inn Express regulars and have never been disappointed. The only Cons: Like most hotels in the area the prices jump sky high during Spring Break and our room was directly over the patio ping pong table, but other than that the positives far out weigh any negatives. The location is perfect! We were steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Gulf Coast. The room was clean and comfortable and the Staff is 2nd to none. Every staff person...the front desk staff, breakfast hostesses, building engineers and cleaning staff greeted us with a smile and a friendly comment/conversation. (Even when we passed one of them in the parking lot as they were leaving their shift!) Could give Disney a run for the money on the " Friendliest Place on Earth"! Hope to be able to return with the rest of our family sometime! Highly Recommended!

Beverly and her staff do a fantastic job! We have been staying at this hotel for many years and I have to say it just gets better every time. Great attention to detail and a genuine desire to be sure your stay is a great one. I travel a great deal and stay at high end hotels across the US. None has a better staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Pensacola Beach.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Hotel was located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. The ocean view is spectacular, a great beach, walking distance to the pier. The rooms were very comfortable and clean! You can't go wrong staying at this Holiday Inn.

I actually found this property on Trip Advisor. It looked great and I was a little concerned that I was missing something. I have to say that it didn't disappoint at all. I realize that our visit was not during the high season March 4, but it was the best deal of anywhere we stayed during a month long visit to Florida. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room was very nice. I especially liked the two sinks - one in the bathroom and one outside the bathroom. This made it very easy for two people to get ready at the same time. Teh bed was very comfortable.
Every room was on the gulf and included a balcony. The view and the sounds were absolutely great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Pensacola Beach. I certainly will stay again if I am anywhere in the area.

We are Platinum Priority club members, so have stayed in many many Holiday Inn Express hotels.
By far, this was the best one we have stayed at. We were there for 12 days.
All of the employees were above and beyond in all aspects. Knowledgeable, helpful, accomodating, very pleasant personalities (all of them). Whatever was needed, they quickly provided for our needs.
Whoever does the hiring really knows their business and how to choose the best employees.
The only thing missing was laundry facilities at the hotel!!!!!

Room views are remarkable - all rooms have a relaxing Gulf view.

View from our room was just like view on a cruise ship but less expensive and safer too.

We were returning home from St. Augustine to New Orleans and decided to spend the night in Pensacola mostly to have dinner at McGuires. Well, when I walked in the lobby to get our room, I knew right away, this was a special kind of place. I was greeted like I was the most anticipated guest they ever had. I asked for a late checkout and they said no problem...what time would you like? I was asked what floor I wanted to be on (I'd never had that happen before). Knowing that all the rooms had a view of the Gulf, I chose the highest floor available, which was the 7th floor. When we walked into that room and saw the balcony and the view...well, I immediately went back down to the front desk to ask if it was possible to stay an extra night. The staff at this particular Holiday Inn Express was perfect. Shame on me for not remembering names. I believe John was the gentleman that worked with me. At the front desk...he was awesome. There was a young lady who worked the breakfast area...my wife referred to her as "a ray of sunshine" because she simply had such great smile and a real sense of pride in providing for her guests. No one was left wanting in the breakfast area. I can probably go on, but I'll just say this one last thing...we leave town every year for Mardi Gras, and our destination from now on will be Pensacola and a stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Pensacola Beach.

My husband and I take a month's vacation every winter and usually rent a condo on the beach. We have decided that the Pensacola Beach Holiday Inn is the perfect place to spend our time. The rooms are wonderful, well-appointed and clean all with spectacular beach views, sunrises and sunsets. The staff is beyond reproach from the front desk that will help you with any problem to housekeeping and the girls manning the breakfast bar to the maintenance personnel who help you open your safe. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will go back, again and again.

We met Beverly during breakfast, expressing concerns from one of our friends in another room about the hot lighting in their room as opposed to ours. After speaking with us, she went straight to maintenance to discuss and discovered an issue with the ventilation in their room. She came back to us with the answer and it was resolved. Both young ladies at the front desk were very friendly & recommended two great restaurants we never would have found if they had not given us the information.

I have never had a "bad stay" at an H I Exp. However, this time is one for the record. Not only is this one of the nicest and most asccomodating of the Chain, but the staff are "Marvelous." The flu bug caught up with me the weekend of my stay. Because of this it was necessary for me to stay over an extra day. Directions were given to an ER express clinic nearby and I was cared for so kindly by the front desk and housekeeping staff. A late checkout on Tuesday was automatic and I was left to recouperate under their watchful eyes. Thank you, Staff, (new girl Jazzman), for your kindness and consideration, you went above and beyond to see to my care. I'll Be Back!

This feels like a five star hotel for sure. They are always polishing something, the staff is so friendly and helpful and the view of the Gulf of Mexico is spectacular.
Breakfast is always a treat with something for everyone and variety every day. The atmosphere of the dining area is so relaxed.
With every room facing the Gulf ,as well as the dining area, the view cannot be surpassed.
We will travel here at every opportunity to relax and enjoy.

INCREDIBLE WEEKEND IN THE PENTHOUSE SUITE. MY HUSBAND AND I WAS ABLE TO GET AWAY FROM 3 CHILDREN FOR 2 NIGHTS. WE WERE SURPRISINGLY ABLE TO STAY IN THE PENTHOUSE SUITE, AND WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO STAY ONE NIGHT, BUT EXTENDED OUR STAY. THE STAFF WERE ALL SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE BREAKFAST WAS REALLY GOOD AND EXCEPTIONAL STAFF THERE AS WELL. WE WILL BE BACK!!! IT WAS CHILLY OUT, BUT WE STILL WALKED ON THE BEACH, ON THE PIER, TOOK A BREATHTAKING RIDE ON THE 360 FERRIS WHEEL AND SHOPPED AND ATE THE BEST FOOD AT LANDRY'S, FLOUNDERS, AND CRABS.
