INCREDIBLE WEEKEND IN THE PENTHOUSE SUITE. MY HUSBAND AND I WAS ABLE TO GET AWAY FROM 3 CHILDREN FOR 2 NIGHTS. WE WERE SURPRISINGLY ABLE TO STAY IN THE PENTHOUSE SUITE, AND WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO STAY ONE NIGHT, BUT EXTENDED OUR STAY. THE STAFF WERE ALL SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE BREAKFAST WAS REALLY GOOD AND EXCEPTIONAL STAFF THERE AS WELL. WE WILL BE BACK!!! IT WAS CHILLY OUT, BUT WE STILL WALKED ON THE BEACH, ON THE PIER, TOOK A BREATHTAKING RIDE ON THE 360 FERRIS WHEEL AND SHOPPED AND ATE THE BEST FOOD AT LANDRY'S, FLOUNDERS, AND CRABS. As always, hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff is awesome. We stayed here this time over New Year's Eve weekend and enjoyed watching the fireworks off the Pensacola Pier from our comfy balcony. Watching them light up the ocean waves coming in was breath-taking!! We always stay 2-3-4 nights and never ask for maid service--we clean up after ourselves. They always leave a bundle of fresh towels and coffee supplies outside out door every day, and the front desk calls to make sure we're OK because we leave the do not disturb sign out all the time. It is so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoy the area restaurants, but out favorite meal each day is the amazing breakfast bar that's included with the hotel price. The 2 ladies working it make sure everything keeps full and are available for any needs. If we do call for an extra towel or anything, the staff is very prompt and it arrives at our door in minutes. We live about 30 minutes from here, so have many choices in hotels to stay and we choose here most of the time due to excellent staff and the awesome breakfast bar!! We definitely will continue to stay here!!!

We have been staying here for several years. We love everything about it. We have always has a great vacation with beautiful rooms and gulf front views from our balcony. The staff treat us like family. Pensacola Beach is the most beautiful beach in Florida.

This was my first time to this Hotel. The Hotel and Rooms were very clean and the Staff was helpful and Friendly. I will stay here again. Oh yea, the views were better than expected.

Easy access to great restaurants recommended by staff. Lovely view from balcony of the Gulf of Mexico. Clean room. Great morning staff during breakfast. Would definitely return to stay longer.

We've been to this particular HI Express several times...and a few times BEFORE the old one was destroyed by a hurricane.
It's just far enough away from the CONGESTED MAIN area on Pensacola Beach and yet close enough to get anywhere in a couple of minutes. Pool is very nice...patio area a great place to meet n' greet. Beach has always been clean.
Stop looking and start booking...this is a great value location.

The staff at this particular location was great and extremely helpful during my stay. I was staying there because I was in town for the Pensacola Half Marathon. Usually the breakfast begins at 630, but the staff was nice enough to lay out the breakfast spread at 530 so that the runners had an opportunity to eat something before departing for the early race. Aside from this, the hotel had the great quality of any other holiday inn I had stayed at--so no complaints on the rest of the hotel--but I was extremely pleased with the politeness and consideration of the staff during my stay on this particular visit!

Staff treat you like emplyees at "Chic Fil-a" restaurant ,which is outstanding! - the view from your lanai is as wonderful as in Hawaii minus the foliage -

We had a wonderful time in Pensacola. My husband and I try to always stay at HIE no matter where we travel to. This particular HIE was right on the beach. Excellent views and centrally located to all attractions at Pensacola Beach. Breakfast was awesome....the best we have ever had at HIE. Clean rooms & great staff.

We only stayed for 3 nights but being the time of year it was (mid October) it was very very relaxing! The room was super clean and beautiful. We have never had such a friendly staff at a hotel. Especially Tyler at the front desk! The cinnamon rolls were to die for at the breakfast bar! We love Santa Rosa Island and the location was super!! The beach view was awesome as well as the beach itself...Beautiful!!! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our 5 night stay on the beach. Fall is a great time to visit the beach. I loved morning and afternoon walks on the beach and the ocean view from our balcony was perfect! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The ladies in the breakfast room are kind, helpful and hard workers. The coffee was as good as our home brewed coffee. The room was perfect for us! Great place to stay!

Rooms very well appointed, beds extremely comfortable, breakfasts were high quality and good variations. The greatest part was the friendliness of the staff and their immediate attention to any request. This property is a great value and reminds me of the old Holiday Inn Express which was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan. They are carrying on a tradition of excellence, I appreciate it and will always come back to this facility as well as recommend to everyone I know.

This is our third time to stay at this hotel and it just keeps getting better. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. The views are also spectacular . I never want to leave but I will always be back. You can't go wrong with this one.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic.The room overlooking the ocean on 6th floor, what could be nicer.The added bonus to the view was the wonderful staff. Special mention to Tyler and Jasmine on Reception who greeted us like old and valued friends, and to the way that Niki & Emily worked on the breakfasts. Everything was spotlessly clean and kept well stocked, never having to ask for anything it was all there. We really cannot praise the hotel enough and the lovely chats we had with Tutt who was so informative and interesting. Please, please convey our thanks again to them all,We do hope that sometime in the future we will be able to return.

Excellent hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The hotel is in excellent condition, and well taken care of. The location is absolutely fabulous, with great restaurants within walking distance. Beach is the best in the world.

This is quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and the view was perfect. The breadkfast room also had a great view and there was great access to the beach.

Excellent location...on the Gulf. What a pretty view on emerald green water. Price was mid range for on the beach. They did welcome us with open arms for our wedding night arrival....very nice.
The only criticism was the shower need to be better cleaned removing small deposits of mildew. Other than that, great place to stay.

I used my priority club points to take a short family getaway. I never know what to expect when visiting hotels that I am unfamiliar with, but this one was a pleasant surprise.
The staff was very friendly, without being intrusive. The location was right on the beach which was very nice. And the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
I will tell all my family and friends to not waste the money on condos and rentals when visitsing Pensacola Beach. Believe it or not, this Holiday Inn Express is a much better experience.
Well done. Count me as a satisfied customer.

This hotel has the perfect location on a beach with sugary white sand and emerald green water. All rooms face the Gulf, are clean and spacious and have a balcony. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they give you the feeling that you are one of the family. This is the perfect location for a relaxing vacation.
But you should also visit the National Seashore nearby - the sand here is so white that it sometimes looks like gypsum or snow. And the beaches are renowned for their crystal clear water.
We loved every minute of our stay.

We chose the Penascola Beach location and the HIE property to celebrate our anniversary. We were hoping for a comfortable and relaxing time to get away and enjoy. We got that and a whole lot more. The staff was extremely courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. It has been quite a while since we both felt that our vacation was perfect. We will definitely return. What a gem.

This was a great place to stay at. Every room had a view of the ocean. Breakfast was free and good choices. Close to other stores (within walking distance etc). Just an overall excellent value for the money.
