Open the deck door and enjoy the sound of the surf and the gentle breezes. Good restaurants in the area and the relaxed atmosphere make this a great place to get away. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the location on the beach is top notch. There is room to gather with family to play games or just visit in the breakfast area, the pool and patio areas are very nice and the equipment in the fitness room was nice and newer. March 23, 2014

We made our reservations online and found when we got their we needed a larger room as our Grandson who is at a local College was staying with us for two of the four nights we were their. The Young Lady at the front desk upgraded our room to a suite with no extra charge. This is one of the reason's we try to stay at Holiday Inn Express. Your staff takes care of our needs. We plan to be in your area in March, 2015 for our anniversary and we will be making reservations at your motel for another Great stay. Keep up the Great Work and keep hiring Great personnel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Platinum Treatment ! We had an incredible experience during our stay on March 6, 2014. The facility and location are beautiful and right on the beach. But because I am a Platinum level IHG Rewards/Priority Club member, the staff treated us to a free upgrade to the Presidential Suite on the 8th floor. I called at 10:00 a.m.to ask if an early check-in was possible, and the desk staff said they would call me immediately when our room was ready. They called within 30 minutes. I did not inquire about an upgrade--the staff just made it available when we arrived. When we opened the door to the Suite, we were stunned. Amazing views of the Gulf, incredibly spacious, and luxury all around. With the early check-in, we could spend nearly the entire day, and were allowed a noon checkout the following day. I would give this facility a 5-star rating even without this service, but would now give it a 10+. I also highly recommend the Rewards Club. The points, annual free night, and free upgrades make it a fantastic value. We travel a lot, and our first choice is always a Holiday Inn--not just because of the Priority Club benefits, but because they are always clean, comfortable, conveniently located, great amenities, and the staff is great. We have never had a negative experience, but this one currently ranks at the top of our list. Thank you so much. It was an unbelievable treat! March 11, 2014

The only part of this stay I could possibly complain about was the wifi was the slowest I have ever been on. I am not sure but we may have all been sharing dial up. We chose this property for our honeymoon because we've always had excellent experiences with the Holiday Inn Express brand and because the location was simply ideal. The front desk staff were sincerely welcoming and professional. Our room was perfectly clean with high quality linens and a very comfortable bed. The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning; incredible sunrises and sunsets. The breakfast buffet provided a very good variety of options and the breakfast staff were very pleasant and attentive. The freshly baked cookies at reception in the afternoons were a lovely little treat! For very reasonably priced and delicious food we recommend nearby Shaggy's with lovely views of the harbor. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our Favorite Place To Stay In Pensacola My mom lives in Pensacola and has been in the hospital a lot recently and now is in hospice. We've stayed a couple of different places when we go to see her and keep coming back to the Holiday Inn Express on Pensacola Beach. The people are great, the rooms all face the Gulf, and the breakfast is a great perk to keep from having to stop somewhere else for something in the morning. When we get back to the hotel in the evening it is so nice to be able to open up the door to the balcony and just listen to the waves or walk up and down the beach. We need the diversion and the lack of problems when we visit and this place and the people provide it. Thanks so much. February 20, 2014

We cannot say enough good things about the staff that was stranded with us for two days in the hotel due to ice cover and bridge closings. Diane , Nicole, Tutt, and Linda could not do enough for us. They all did their part to make a bad situation bearable . We had to extend our stay by two additional nights because of the weather. We were so very appreciative of your amazing staff. Laura and Diane added to our enjoyment with friendly attitudes, and wonderful site-seeing and dining suggestions. The entire staff makes people feel welcome from the minute they check in to the minute they leave. Our room was wonderful and the location on the beach just could not be better. The fitness center was above average with all the things we consider important, good sized room, good equipment, sanitizer, tv channel guide and a wonderful view. We will definitely return. We were looking for a special place for her to get married on the beach. Found it down the beach from there. Private setting. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We always enjoy staying here When I take the girlfriend down to Pensacola for rest and relaxation, we always enjoy staying at this hotel. We prefer to stay in the king rooms, which are the rooms on the end. This last visit, all of the king rooms were rented out, and we ended up staying in one of the smaller rooms with the double queens. The room wasn't bad, but it wasn't that giant room with the king. The staff is really friendly, and very knowledgeable. I swear that every time that I call, I always end up talking with Tyler. Very super friendly guy. The free breakfast is really good also. Nothing like waking up to breakfast all ready for you. All of the rooms are on the Gulf. Fantastic view. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Pcola.... January 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Almost impossible for any other HIE to top friendliness and service Laura and Diane started and finished this delightful stay with great friendliness, Diane giving a second wake up call in person to make sure the first was done well.the top award should go to Tutt and Nicholefor WAAAAY over and above service as to be explained. My wife was in pain due to back trouble, so in the process of helping her out of the car and into the hotel I left the trunk open. Tutt found it open and Nichole tried calling the room, but we couldn't hear due to our being on the balcony. Tutt came to our door, knocked, and when we didn't answer,went outside to call to us that he had shut the trunk. Upon checking the trunk, everything was there including Christmas gifts and all we didn't take into the hotel. The manager of the property should do something extra for all of these, especially Tutt and Nichole. They really make the guest feel welcome and will go to extremes to help the guest.. A bonus or raise would be in line.. He should know that he has assembled a fantastic staff. Anyone wanting to stay there needs to know of the service. December 25, 2013
