Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Rely on the PULL OUT sofa as a sleeper option!! We selected this hotel with 2 bed suite which was to include the pull out sofa. Wow- don't waste your money on this room. First, the sofa pull out frame was defective. When open and fully set up the bed had about a 20% decline where all the blood would rush to your head while sleeping. We notified the staff and they attempted to repair this by the following "comical" methods- they added 2 pieces of spare base boards under the mattress in an effort to prop it up some, next they provided an extra comforter to position under the mattress to prop it up some more. Secondly the mattress on the pull out was so worn and cheap that you could feel the metal bed frame thru the the staff tried to swap out mattress out with another rooms mattress but stated they are also in the same poor condition. Manager offered some extra "point" for my trouble but would not refund a portion of my charges as requested. Poor - very poor customer service. Pros- food was good, room was clean and staff did attempt to help but efforts fell way short. May 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Comfy The hotel was quiet and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The bathroom needs updating. Shower curtain was not long enough to stay inside shower. Bathtub walls were showing signs of age and water. Coffee in room terrible (why do they give you those coffeemakers that make bad coffee?). I like full-bodied coffee so even coffee at breakfast tasted watery. Air conditioner in room was very noisy. I turned off at night to sleep (I like a warm room at night). Location is away from town. It's good for visit to Navy base, though. Pricewise, it was not much less than nicer hotel in downtown--which is where I'd stay next time. May 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Was nice for me I chose based on brand and location. Was a nicely kept property. Breakfast was nicely laid out and a better selection compared to other HI express properties. I did feel like lighting in the guest room was not sufficient. I found a single ceiling mount light at entry door and then the lamp between the beds. They had rather low output bulbs. Brighter bulbs and perhaps a lamp at the table. May 10, 2015
