Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Experience I traveled with a group of 12 people to enjoy Phoenix and surroundings. I was able to book through the internet, 3 rooms (double queens). When we arrive at the hotel (after a 10 hour drive) our reservation wasn't respected, because they didn't have any more double beds rooms! They accommodate us in one double room and two kings size rooms with rollaway beds; but they only had one rollaway bed! If that wasn't enough, one of the rooms was next to the hotel laundry, and the atmosphere inside the room was to hot. I was really disappointed of my experience in this hotel and won't recommend it to anyone. November 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff Service My wife had emergency eye surgery on November 12, 2014 in Phoenix. As we are from Yuma, we booked a room at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. The night desk lady, Izzy, looked after our every needs making sure that my wife was comfortable and also made an extra effort to provide us with a ground floor room. The following morning, Wanda, continued the same kind, compassionate service allowing us to remain after normal checkout time so that I could transport my wife directly to her post-op appointment as we had no where to go in the interim. In the past I have always stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and have always been made welcome and comfortable by all the friendly courteous staff throughout my stay. November 16, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Easy This property was simple and clean but the rooms need updated. We stayed here because it was close to a sporting event we were attending. Wanted to stay more in Glendale near the stadium but all rooms booked. This location worked out fine - 15 minute drive from our destination. The hallways were very narrow and able to hear next door neighbors. Our room was at end of hallway near the stairway exit and were able to smell smoke in our room as a result. Everything was clean and in working order but I would prefer a little nicer amenities and updated room. It worked in a pinch and was very close to many nice restaurants. November 12, 2014
