Good breakfast. Could use one additional staff during breakfast on Fri, Sat mornings. Beds terribly uncomfortable - made of cardboard? Carpets in room stained. Shower curtain in poor repair. Room 403.

From the time we checked in till checkout time we felt a smile and comfort like home away from home !! Great staff and clean hotel room every time we returned each day ..loved the breakfast and the warm cookies at night ..Thanks again : )

Our plans changed several times during the week for a very busy weekend and the staff was very flexible and made it easy. Breakfast was good and the kids loved the fresh cookies and warm swimming pool!

We stayed for the race weekend and enjoyed every minute if it. This hotel was in a great location for us, was very comfortable, and overall was very satisfied.

I seldom provide feedback on my IHG stays, but I will here because my 1-night stay at Peoria-North indicates that a lack of management at this facility could be tarnishing the well-earned HIE reputation for uniform quality. During our vacation in the Southwest we stayed at 9 different HIEs, and this was clearly number 9. No recognition at reception of Rewards Club status, which is not important to me but is an IHG standard that you come to expect, so when it did not happen it caught my attention. Breakfast items ran out and were not replaced, to include basics like coffee. There did not appear to be a morning manager managing; rather, there was a receptionist who did only that and was not concerned about the lack of food items at a busy breakfast; a food service person who did her own thing which included chatting with the room cleaning staff as they arrived for work rather than focusing on her duties; etc. Overall, not up to HIE standards. Hopefully, this was just an off-day snapshot.
