Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms not maintained well. Table lamp was broken, not working. Bulb in the bathroom was out. Bed sheets had stains all over them. Pillows were smelly. Both full bed mattresses were wore out and you can feel the springs. Very poor sleep quality. Breakfast selection was very poor. Coffee was not adequately hot. No sugar substitute for daiabetics. No splenda or sweet and low. Night duty clerk who checked in was not experienced and did not input the information we requested. August 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 average The room was average. The biggest problem was the air unit was so noisy that it interrupted my sleep and I am generally a deep sleeper, rarely awakened by nose. The breakfast buffet had lots of different items. I would not go there again because there are other hotels in the area to choose from that are probably comparable and might have quieter air units. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could use furnishings to be refurbished From holes in the sofa cushion, to a mattress that felt older than my one at home (10 years now), I was not very comfortable. The sofa was just not great, though OK as a bed when opened (not expected to be as good as the real bed). The bed mattresses were hard and had springs sticking me in the side. Staff was pleasant, and the location great if you're looking for the NW Valley area. The elevator and hallways had an odor, though not in the room. Staff also need to have explained to them the definitions of "double" and "Queen" beds. I had called the desk when making the reservation (and again at check in) and asked about the bed size and told that they were queens (they were double/full). As a platinum member, I have seen better HI Expresses, but its better than a lot of the competition. August 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience at a reasonable cost Upon arriving at this hotel, I was greeted by friendly smiles from staff. They were helpful and pleasant to deal with. Check in was smooth and easy. The swimming pool was small and at first I thought it was a hot tub. Because of the heat, we did not use this pool. But, it was clean and fresh looking. I had a restful, and enjoyable stay and would do it again when needed. The breakfast was good, but a little on the cold side for hot food. Although, there was a good variety. August 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Basic hotel room with friendly attentive staff My family stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in order to attend a large family event. I rented a 2 room suite with 2 beds.The room was very plain, and as I've found common to most hotel chains the beds are rock hard and uncomfortable. That said, the hotel was very quiet and the facility and surrounding area were pleasant and secure. The middle of the road quality of the accommodations was offset by the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone I spoke to during our stay was polite and genuinely helpful. On the whole I'd stay there again, however I think I'd opt for a room with a king size bed and let my daughter sleep on the pull out sofa bed. It couldn't be any less comfortable than the double beds we slept on. August 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good stay First off I am not a disgruntled guest I just had a very disappointing stay. I had to switch rooms due to a foul odor the replacement room was not much better. Room service forgot to replace my towels and left me with nothing to dry off after my shower. They also forgot to leave shampoo or conditioner ( I know its petty, but was one of many things that went bad). The food was stale and bananas were mushy, I routinely stay at Holiday Inns for work and enjoy my stay, this was by far the worst experience I have had. August 11, 2014

The original room that they had me checked in was under repair but the staff was proactive and moved me into another room. Staff was very friendly and nice. I will definitely will be back.
