Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tami needs training Let me first say that I stay at this hotel often. Normally I get excellent customer service. As a Platinum Member I am usually greeted as such and given an option to chose between a little goodies bag of cookies and water or 500 points. I always chose the points. Two nights before checking in I called to ask about the pool. Tami answered the phone and said the pool wasn't being used because of the season. Since I didn't mind it being cold I asked if I could use it anyway and she said sure, but there were frogs and leaves in it. I asked if the chemicals were still being put in trying to figure out why she said I could get in under those conditions. She said the maintenance man was out for the week so no one was tending the pool. I called the day of check in and spoke with Jamie who told me a pool company maintains it and it was not as described to me the night before. When I got there Tami checked me in but no greeting as platinum member and not very helpful. Odd as this is usually a friendly helpful hotel March 24, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable motel. Disappointed in one of the machines in the fitness room not working. I did not report it to the desk, but it looked like the machine was this way for a while. Outdoor pool in the winter? Northern Florida, or not.? I guess this is normal for all Southern motels and hotels. We missed using the pool as I was recovering from a knee operation and needed the exercise. March 12, 2015

Our original room number was crossed out and desk clerk had to search for a room. As a Platinum Elite member I was not recognized or offered any normal amenities. I was tired from driving through the snow. So I did not complain March 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Hour Nice room, comfortable beds, friendly staff. We were pleased at check in to be told they have a happy hour with snacks. When we went down for it, however, it was to find that it had been canceled because no one was available to pick up the supplies. Huddle House across the road is the only restaurant within decent walking distance, so we went there for supper. March 7, 2015

The hotel room and facilities were extremely clean and well laid out. The management offered a happy hour when we arrived and a very nice breakfast in the morning.
