Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by average stay I've stayed at this hotel before, and i fell like it's quality has slipped over the past couple of years. it looked like they were painting and such, so maybe the room i stayed in was due for an overhaul. it was at best an average room. nothing special. there were many lights out in the parking lot, which made me worry about my car. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Location and ammenities My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and concerned about their guest. I had an opportunity to tour the facility and found it to be overall well maintained even during renovation/painting. I would however recommend the curb areas be swept and areas around the exits receive more attention. I.E trash receptacles and cigg.butts. August 13, 2014

My sink drained very slowly. I felt as though I was in a 70's time warp. I will be seeking other choices upon my return to the area. August 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vanities & A/C & Ice comments I was assigned to Room 100, at the beginning of the long hallway on the first floor. My guess is that this hotel is an older facility. The bathroom is cramped, and the vanity is extremely small, with no room for dopp kits, etc.. The A/C unit needs to have a setting for Fan Only, as the constant cycling on/off of the unit tends to disturb sleep. There needs to be a second ice machine next to the candy/soda machines at the beginning of the very long hallway. July 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A quick visit Was in town to meet with my mother and siblings to attend our annual Toledo Mudhens baseball game. As usual, everything was fine for intention needed - just a quick one night stay. The only thing I had problems with, as is the case at most hotels, is the quality of pillows. Too many hotels are using those long pillows that do not support your neck, even the firm pillows. It would be nice if they actually went back to the smaller pillows with higher quality available, as sleep is very important to most people when they travel. July 22, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fitness is not always a plus for other guests I was very disappointed that the fitness center was on the second floor and when anyone uses the treadmill the rooms anywhere near it hear and feel the vibration. The staff was very generous with water and very willing to help if needed but the lack of rest due to noise was more than I would have liked. July 21, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by old smoking room Booked a no smoking room with refrigerator and microwave. On check in found I was in a room which used to be a smoking room so when you turned on the AC you got the smell of cigarettes, also no microwave and no refrigerator also most of the light fixtures had cobwebs on them. Asked if I could change room and told they were booked full for that night and to ask again in the morning. Asked again in the morning and was told a room was available and they would call me after it had been cleaned. Explained to the lady on reception would this be before 2Pm of that day as I would be working from 3pm until 3am for the other 4 days of my stay and she replied that it should be. As i left the hotel at 2pm I asked again if the room was ready and was told no not yet again they said they would call my cell to confirm i could change room. when arriving back at the hotel at 3am asked the night manager and he told me all rooms are booked full and he had no notice of my room change. so off to Walmart i went to get a room full of air fresheners and a fan. This room was booked a month in advance. also no recognition for being a platinum member. July 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good Review My husband and I stayed on 7/12 and found the room was very small for the price we paid. The mattress was uncomfortable, seems as though they had about 10 years of sleeping on them. We resided at an entrance and exit door, that did not lock, which made us fearful of people coming in and out. We only stayed one night, and because we were given extra time to stay, we didn't press the issue. I thought hotels didn't use glasses any more, since I saw the video on how maids clean them. We will use the internet when picking the next hotel, and not just stopping and choosing at the last minute. July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms need updating Rooms had the basics, but the bathrooms were very small and outdated as was the room. The pull out couch was uncomfortable enough for my teenager to complain about it. Staff were fantastic and breakfast was good. Lobby had been nicely updated but the rooms need some attention. I have relatives in the area that I visit often, and this was the first time I've ever stayed at this hotel. I will be staying here whenever I visit in the future! July 9, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel average for Holiday inn express This hotel is clean and Nice being older property .No elevator to the 2nd floor .They do need to update the rooms and beds and air conditioning. The room I stayed in had a push button air conditioner. The room was dated and not as nice as other Holiday Inns expresses.It is clean and well kept. The check in staff was not at all up to snuff . The Girl that checked me in never said anything to me that I was a Platinum Member or that I have stayed there many times before . Did not offer me an upgrade to my room ,No welcome things no extra points nothing .Which is what other HIE do !!!!! They need some help in Training. They do have a nice Breakfast area . July 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, no hot tub : ( Great hotel and pool, but there is no hot tub as advertised. : ( The staff was great. My son left his Dad's father's day gift in the drawer . We called the hotel as soon as we realized, and the receptionist notified housekeeping. Three days later, my husband received his gift in the mail! The breakfast was wonderful. The room was very clean, but there was a strong "mildew" smell in the bathroom, which we believe came from the shower curtain. The room was very clean, though. June 18, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom quality The bathroom was "far below any Holiday Inn" standards. It was not dirty but was very small and the old fixtures and sink, especially counter space were very poor. The price for the Sun night visit was "reasonable, but higher than the value..."; the price for the Tue night visit was "too high and not worth the value..." We stayed 2 nights in the same week, 2 days apart. Since we PRE-PAID to get the "lower room rate", I could not change the Tue reservation. We had lived in the area for 4 years and "assumed" that the hotel was "Holiday Inn" level. We did not care about the "extras", just wanted a room with a bed and a bathroom big enough to have both of us use at the same time. We had to get up early, just to get done on time... The Inn had a great breakfast. That I would recommend. RB June 12, 2014

It is always clean; the staff is friendly and helpful; and the rooms have always been comfortable and clean.
