We would recommend this hotel for sheer convenience to the A9 and easy access into Perth centre by car or public transport.The staff are very professional and pleasant and this was a return visit for us as the first time was also good.The rooms are comfortable,warm and modern with pleasant decor.The lift to upper floors was a little slow but stairs are available for those in a rush.A pleasant bar is available in the evening for those wishing to stay local and Perth centre only ten minutes away by car.
Breakfast choice was restricted on the cooked side but adequate and a good range of cereal etc.Television was a bit fiddly as it reverted to it's face page after switching off every time.
A restaurant is a short walk next door with evening meals at various price ranges to suit most tastes and if not satisfied with the hotel breakfast they offer a good choice at a special price.

Had a last minute duty call & needed to be in two places at once - this stay enabled me to relaxe & refresh in between as & when it suited ....Terrific value for the money paid...clean & comfortable too!

I stayed at HI in Perth Scotland recently.The hotel was very comfortable and the staff helpful, especially the Receptionist who was more than helpful and pleasant to talk to. The hotel was good value for money and the breakfast was excellent. Would return again.

Besides the attitude of Gillian at the Reception, it was a fair stay, although I must admit that it seems to be the same motto accross all Holiday Inn Hotels.

After driving down from the north it was nice to be greeted by friendly staff and relax in a nice clean comfortable room.
The hotel is well placed for the town and in an area with little noise. Having also stayed at the Holiday Inn in Inverness in the last few weeks I have to say that I have been impressed at the quality of the rooms and the customer care.

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation for the money, the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly, great with our kids. The room was a little on the snug side but perfectly adequate for our needs, breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day. I will definitely be back.

This Holiday Inn Express is ideally situated, not only to explore Stirling, Dundee and Perthshire, but also at the gateway to the Highlands. It is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast excellent. We would certainly stay there again.

I've stayed in many Holiday Inns (inc Express) around the world and the UK. They're not all perfect and one I stayed in at Glenrothes last month was pretty poor. However, Perth was right up there at the level you'd expect! A great hotel, very clean and comfortable plus so convenient for travellers. Thank you for providing yet another wonderful overnight stop.

Stayed at Perth HI Exp for a quiet weekend, this hotel is by far one of the better HI Exp in Scotland (and we have stayed in many). From greeting on arrival by Emma on front desk, and general friendly outlook of Gillian, this HI Exp is a pleasure to return to. The rooms were well presented and the overall cleanliness is to be commended.The breakfast was well presented and area kept very clean.

Once more a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Room met all expectations and sleep most cmfortable with no interuptons/ distractions.
Staff most pleasant and breakfast good.

We had an emergency phone call to say that my mother in law was fading fast at Perth Royal Infirmary and beng in Glasgow we needed to get a room for family for couple of nights. I phoned and spoke with a lady who could not have been more helpful...we drove up Friday, checked in to a smashing wee family room, just fine for what we needed, near to hospital. Breakfast was great and the young man on duty was really brilliant. Getting bus time tables for people and advising on what to do in Perth! Sadly my mother in law died on Monday 14 January at 4.30am in the morning....but thanks to Holiday Inn Express we were all able to pop in and out over the week end and able to say our goodbyes.
Thanks. We will return in happier times and enjoy a stay wi you again.

I checked in on Friday 11th Jan and immediately was made most welcome by the member of staff on duty and I was addressed by name. The check in process was actioned within a few minutes , and this was carried out with efficiency and courtesy and I was advised of the breakfast times and also WIFI facilties. The room on the ground floor was very clean and comfortable and the use of a choice of pillows and also tea/coffee machine in the room. Also the bathroom was spotless. I did not make use of the breakast as I had an early check-out and this again was actioned with efficiency and courtesy and ia was asked if my stay was satisfactory , to which I replied "it was great'. I would recommend this establishement for your stay in Perth.

We have found this to be one of the friendliest Holiday Inn Expresses. The staff are always helpful and it is nice that the coffee machine in the lounge area is left on all day. No real opportunity for Priority Club recognition, as it is an express.

We had a very comfortable stay with you. As we had to take our dog to visit a vet it was great that it was not a problem for him to stay in the room with us also a blanket and dish for his food was in the room when we arrived .Great stay. Well done

This is the second time that we have stayed here. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and professioonal. The rooms are comfy, clean and have all the facicilities you would need. It is handy for going into Perth. The breakfasts are great and easy to access.
We will be back again.

Stayed over Saturday night with in-laws who required a disabled access room. Staff very helpful in arranging adjoining rooms for us and providing directions the next day.
Didn't realise breakfast was included in price which made for a nice surprise.
Great restaurant next door for pub grub. For price couldn't ask for more would definitely stay again.

Very well maintained hotel, welcoming staff and good standard of cleanliness. However, let down by the increasing room cost, when compared to its competitors. Budget hotels are meant for people who are on a budget - we can no longer afford the Express prices.

We are loyal to Holiday Inn Express mainly due to the fact that they accept dogs. That being said, we would never know a dog had previously stayed in any of their hotel rooms before our arrival as they are cleaned to such a high level. This hotel even had a doggie blanket spread out for our boy upon arrival We thought that was first class and so did our Border Collie! We stay in different Hoilday Inn's each year (pleasure and business) and would rate this one as first class. The staff went out of their way, the breakfast was fantastic and the bar/lounge was very relaxing after our long days out in the area. We will definetely be back to Perth Holiday Inn on our future travels north. Thank you!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much indeed at the Holiday Inn. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We were there for 3 days and found nothing that did not please us. The staff were very friendly and helpful and amazing when my husband set the alarm button off by mistake. Breakfast was just what we wanted as neither of us take a cook breakfast. It was convenient to the centre of town.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms good size with comfortable beds,staff very friendly and helpfull. Although very close to main road rooms were very quiet. Breakfast reasonable selection and good quality.
Little confusing getting into car park.
Would certainly stop there again
