Family get together - - near Starved Rock State Park - - there were twenty of us, each of us were very happy with Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites of Peru and we are planning on another trip and staying with Holiday Inn Express Hotels & Suites of Peru again. Wonderful staff (Ashley went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect). Comfortable and clean rooms. We all reserved two-queen bed rooms and we all had a wonderful time at Starved Rock State Park and still had time to relax in room and/or pool/whirlpool. Highly recommend!!!!!! Thank you for a trip we will always remember.

We were traveling I39 and thought of going to Lasalle to see if there was a Holiday Inn Exp and by luck landed in Peru where the motel is. I suggest you do some advertizing on I39.

My wife and I stayed at the facility as a mini getaway for our 8th anniversary as we explored the area. The facility was clean and very affordable. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub were very relaxing, and there were ample choices for breakfast. We will be back again.

We will stay here again. It is a good midpoint for us travelling from Michigan to Iowa. Everything very clean. Good breakfast. Our room did not have a bathtub, but we didn't request a change as we got in late. Quite close to the Interstate, but not close enough to detect any noise.

I travel frequently for business, and usually stay in Marriott or Hilton properties for the awards and (usually) nice properties. In Peru, the place to stay is the Best Western. Although the other two have properties just across the freeway, this property is the best place to stay. It is a new facility, very well maintained, quiet and with extremely friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are beautifuly decorated and very comfortable. I'll be here for a few more weeks, and will be staying in Best Western the whole time. Oh, and yes, they have suites.

Very quiet, and comfortable short stay. Very good breakfast selection, kept up well by attendant. Highly recommended for a good nites sleep. Only disappointment was that coffee maker in the room did not work, which could easily be missed by cleaning staff, if never notified by previous guest. Left a note so that the next paying customer will be happy, happy, happy with his/her first spark of energy.
