This time, however, there was a distinct 'doggy' smell in the Reception area. Also, our complimentary tea/coffee supplies in the room had not been replenished, and were not replenished during our stay - most unusual. April 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A few issues at check-in but overall recommended Staff need to be consistent when checking in. Not only here but across the brand. I have Platinum Elite status and had booked two rooms. Nothing uncommon but on this occasion I was informed I would only be entitled to one set of the standard rewards. This is not something I'd experienced before. I challenged the decision but the second member of staff confirmed. I informed them I would take the matter up centrally after. Later that day I received the 2 x 300 points so problem solved. So what is the standard process here? Later when I wanted to charge to my room I was told I'd need to swipe my credit card. Not an issue but again this is inconsistent with other hotel stays and indeed numerous recent stays in this hotel. Just some consistency please with process would be advisable to ensure customer experience. One other issue - No scrambled egg for breakfast next day as the order hadn’t arrived! April 6, 2016
