Bathroom sink didn't drain properly - something that should have been picked up by room attendants and corrected. Breakfast coffee just lukewarm and orange juice mostly water. When we mentioned these issues when checking out, the staff never offered apologies nor did they seem to care. We were very disappointed. We'll continue to seek out HIX properties in the future but will choose another brand when in the Petersburg area.

1. Please its management needs to educate how to be pleasant to customers at the Front Desk. If they don't like what they are doing, leave it and look for another job.
2. I thought there should be hot coffee 24 hours but it is not. Coffee is only available at the breakfast.
3. Room service by housekeeper is not doing well. Forgot to clean my room one day and forgot refill another day.
I would not recommend others to stay here.

Being a Marriott man I was extremely surprised and pleased about the Holiday Inn Express in Petersburg! What made the stay so pleasant was the amazing staff! They were friendly and extremely helpful! Definitely staying at these properties in the future! Keep up the amazing work!

I booked this room for my Husband and my son on there way to Florida, to meet me and my Daughter he said that it was the largest room, most comfortable, clean room he has been in. He said that everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My 7 year old really enjoyed the hot breakfast the next morning especially the cinnamon buns. He asked if he could bring one to his mom because he knew I would like them and your staff was gracious enough to wrap one up for him. It made his day. We will definitely add this hotel to our list. We travel back and Florida about 5-6 times a year.

The staff needs training on customer service. The manager in particular I cannot remember her name but she was really rude and acted as if she was bothered when I approached her with questions. I understand that this hotel services several soldiers daily but if a priority member ask for a 1 hour late checkout I think it should be granted oppose to charging the guest for a another night. The breakfast was horrible and one morning an employee wasn't at work with the key for the refrigerator key so the yogurt was not available. The beds are very uncomfortable.
