Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Excellency. The best Hotel / Motel I have ever stayed in. The cleanliness of the grounds outside and the inside of the entire place is amazing. And the courtesy of the staff is unmatched, plus the comfort of the rooms are amazing as well, I have stayed pretty much in almost every room at this place in the last two years and I've yet to find any flaws. But the real reason I stay here is the staff. They are willing to go "above and beyone" to help make your stay the best it can be. It's the staff that makes this a 5-star experience. June 1, 2014

The rooms were spotless every day. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Just a very pleasant place to be in the Valley. May 4, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Management and No Housekeeping I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and in that time my room was never serviced by housekeeping. I checked in Tuesday and left about 9:45 am Wednesday to go to work and removed the do not disturb sign. When I returned that evening the room was not made up. The front desk told me my room was listed as Do Not Disturb, and she said they probably never checked it again after seeing the DND sign early in the morning. The clerk told me she would talk to housekeeping and make sure it was the room was serviced the next day. On Thursday, I left at 9:30am and removed the Do Not Disturb, and when I returned that evening the room had once again not been serviced. I called the front desk and asked to talk to the Manager on Duty, and was told that he was "sitting in the breakfast area" and would call me back. He never did. I guess sitting in the breakfast area watching TV or whatever he was doing was more important than talking to a guest. Apparently the management at this hotel cares about guests about as much as their housekeeping staff does. I will definitely not stay at this hotel again. April 28, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hospitality friendliness and great service The hotel was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The great service was the reason why I will come back again. The manager that was on duty at the time was named Argentina and she was superb. She had a great attitude and a friendly smile and was eager to help customers. I needed some help with getting some documents scanned and she was very eager to help and I much appreciated that. I'm glad to see that the hotel has staff people like Argentina. She is definitely the secret to their success. April 4, 2014

We have business to take care of in the Valley and arriving late at a hotel is not fun because of being tired and the hospitality from "Manny" is what makes a hotel stay welcoming and comfortable. This young man has been at this hotel since we have been going to the Valley over a year and I would like to let you know that he has a very nice personality and is an asset to your hotel.. Last time we were in that hotel, one night we came back, we found our room opened, but I mean with the door completely opened, another day, with a towel on the bed... I don't know what have happened, we know that hotel since the beginning but the last times we have been there, they look like a real mess. That was the last time I was in there, I won't be back to that hotel ever. January 7, 2014

Hall & room carpet were very dirty and old had to change room keys, took time to find someone who understood English to get my room keys changed Understand location but we are still in the USA-TX, not Mexico Spending $$ on the room is one thing, but really dispointing when you are using points!!!! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does anyone care? We left our room before 9AM, and when we got back to the room at 4:30 PM, it had not yet been cleaned. We called the desk, and they said they would send someone. No apology, no indication at all that they cared. A half hour later, a maid came in, made the beds, put in fresh towels and left. Because we did not speak spanish, we could not communicate with the maid. She did not replace the used cups, replenish the room coffee, or vacuum. We left for dinner, and informed the front desk we wanted the room CLEAN and resupplied. Again, no apology, no indication of regret, merely a bland statement that it would happen. Overall, I was terribly disappointed with this property. Ice machines only on every other floor. Cigarette burns in the carpet in the stairway. A lot of street noise, even though we were a significant distance from the highway. This is one property I will never return to. January 1, 2014

All the staff members from the front desk to the kitchen staff are excellent employees. even though we do no business there in Pharr, I don't mind driving the extra miles for a nice, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere .. keep up the great work ... The staff resolved the issue quickly and very kindly. The attitude of all staff is very respectful and helpful. The hotel main lobby is always clean and smells amazing. The food selection was great and the happy hour was a nice touch! I would recommend Holiday Inn and especially the location in Pharr, Texas. December 2, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and comfortable room When my husband and I arrived, our fear was that our baby could not sleep, but she slept so well in the crib that your staff provided us. The room has the facilities that every couple with baby needs. The breakfast was delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls ;) The only little detail was that the elevator was failing.
