I visit this area several times a year for work and normally stay at another IHG property. Thought i'd try somewhere different and am glad i did. I will definately be back when i'm in the area.

The Staff is friendly and they remember you. I checked in on the spot and the Argentina took care of me. She new what room type I liked and took care of it with out asking. The other staff members were friendly and helpful.
This is an awesome place to stay.

This hotel is a clean and very comfortable place. The customer care from your employees are very nice. We have business to take care of in the Valley and arriving late at a hotel is not fun because of being tired and the hospitality from "Manny" is what makes a hotel stay welcoming and comfortable. This young man has been at this hotel since we have been going to the Valley over a year and I would like to let you know that he has a very nice personality and is an asset to your hotel.. Will be returning to this Holiday Inn no matter what area in the Valley we go to even if is a distance away. Thank you..

One night we came back to the room and it wasn't clean, anybody went to clean it as it should.
Last time we were in that hotel, one night we came back, we found our room opened, but I mean with the door completely opened, another day, with a towel on the bed... I don't know what have happened, we know that hotel since the beginning but the last times we have been there, they look like a real mess. That was the last time I was in there, I won't be back to that hotel ever.

Not at all please with this stay.
Hall & room carpet were very dirty and old
had to change room keys,
took time to find someone who understood English to get my room keys changed
Understand location but we are still in the USA-TX, not Mexico
Spending $$ on the room is one thing, but really dispointing when you are using points!!!!

We left our room before 9AM, and when we got back to the room at 4:30 PM, it had not yet been cleaned. We called the desk, and they said they would send someone. No apology, no indication at all that they cared. A half hour later, a maid came in, made the beds, put in fresh towels and left. Because we did not speak spanish, we could not communicate with the maid. She did not replace the used cups, replenish the room coffee, or vacuum. We left for dinner, and informed the front desk we wanted the room CLEAN and resupplied. Again, no apology, no indication of regret, merely a bland statement that it would happen.
Overall, I was terribly disappointed with this property. Ice machines only on every other floor. Cigarette burns in the carpet in the stairway. A lot of street noise, even though we were a significant distance from the highway. This is one property I will never return to.

I have probably stayed there 25 or 30 times this year and have never had a bad experience there. All the staff members from the front desk to the kitchen staff are excellent employees. even though we do no business there in Pharr, I don't mind driving the extra miles for a nice, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere .. keep up the great work ... We are consistently pleased with the ammenities Holiday Inn has to offer. There were some user errors on booking a room initially. The staff resolved the issue quickly and very kindly. The attitude of all staff is very respectful and helpful. The hotel main lobby is always clean and smells amazing. The food selection was great and the happy hour was a nice touch! I would recommend Holiday Inn and especially the location in Pharr, Texas.

When my husband and I arrived, our fear was that our baby could not sleep, but she slept so well in the crib that your staff provided us.
The room has the facilities that every couple with baby needs.
The breakfast was delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls ;)
The only little detail was that the elevator was failing.

i like staying at this hotel, I've had very good experiences for the last 2 years and I would strongly recommend my friends to stay here. the rooms are always clean, I get an upgrade because of my platinum status and the front desk personnel are always very courteous

High rate cost of room for a hotel within IHG group which has a fitness center with equipment that does not work. For the average person who does not exercise that may be okay but for that exercise and run, this is not safe especially for women because I had to run outside in the street. Secondly, the gift for IHG members when you check is pitiful. A tiny bottle of water with generic crackers and two Farley cheap mints does not cut it.

This HIE is not a brand new facility, it is however well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly, parking was easy and proximity to the interstate was great. The only thing to mention is during my stay the treadmill was still broken and the elliptical machine could use some service as well. While I was there the staff was decorating for Halloween, they put a great deal of effort into making this HIE not feel totally sterile, when you spend as many nights in hotels as I do you appreciate the little things that facilities like this do. I will stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past for business and I have noticed that it is steadily going downhill. The wall by the bathtub was mildewed and appeared to have been patched. The water from the tap had a strong smell of rotten eggs, and the bed pillows were lumpy. At least the cinnamon rolls were (as always) delicious! The staff is always courteous and helpful, but I will be looking for another hotel for future stays in the RGV.

The staff is excellent. Always ready to care for a customer.
The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is great.
My only problem was the treadmill was broke.
I feel I should have told the manager.
No matter the excellent staff makes up for any problems

The staff at this place was fabulous. It is nice to see people that enjoy their job and do it well. Argentina seemed to know everybody that walked in, and that is nice. I was there 3 days and the happy hour was also a great benefit. Wifi was good, excellent location right off the highway, easy access to food options and convenice stores for small things. I cannot blame this hotel, but all hotels offer the same breakfast food, which in my mind is just okay.. at least they had some fruit and cereal

Check in was a 10plus Melissa was in charge . Greeted me a s a returning customer. Upgrade was aplus. Have rasied their rates more than other hotels in the area. Need to consider returning customers are in the area year around. More attention to the breakfast area no sugar free dry cold ceral.
