Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Defines "home away from home" My stellar experience at Holiday Inn Express-Choctaw isn't just a coincidence--that I was lucky and just happened to stay there when their outstanding employees were on duty. I've stayed there twice now for about a week each time, and I am amazed at the quality of the team that the manager, Mr Sagar, has assembled. Their motto seems to be that if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well. No matter who was at the front desk, whether we were checking in or returning from work or dinner, we were always welcomed with a smile. The front desk staff always seemed delighted to recommend restaurants and give us directions. The hotel is immaculate throughout, something I especially appreciate in the breakfast room--which the staff keeps spotless even during the breakfast period. In addition to Becky's being efficient and pleasant, I was impressed when she asked if the vacuum would bother me while I worked offline in the dining room. When everyone had left after the breakfast finished, she turned off the TV rather than leave it on since no one was watching and I was still working. She even offered me some fruit after breakfast was finished. When I told housekeeping on different days that my room didn't require servicing, both housekeepers smiled and assured me they'd be happy to clean, that it was their job. During our last stay, it was raining, I needed to run out to WalMart and my partner had the car. I went to the front desk to arrange a taxi, and an employee, Tony, offered to run me over on his lunch hour. You can see why I'm impressed with this staff and consider this hotel a real home away from home. They say success or problems stem from leadership or lack or it, and all I can surmise is that Mr Sagar must set the standard as an employer. March 5, 2013

The staff was very friendly and extremely willing to help us with anything we needed. Nice television and choice of channels when you get ready to relax. Nice sized bathrooms. A+++++ all the way around! :) Highly recommend! 5 stars no doubt! March 3, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff Room was very clean for both days. Outstanding staff but have to brag on one in particular - Becky - the lady who was managing the breakfast bar. We came down late (after 9:30am) and no one else wasin the bar. We asked if we could pick up a few things. She encouraged us to come in and eat breakfast and even made us feel good about it by saying it would reduce the amount of food wasted since they would have to throw out what wasn't eaten. I guess the main thing was her attitude. We left feeling especially good about our entire stay. December 25, 2012
