Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful view and great service from the staff We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived, and continued to enjoy great service throughout our stay. Several times, we needed additional information or directions, and they were all helpful. In addition, the hotel shuttle saved us a bundle in cab fees, and was a convenient way to get around the city. The drivers were also friendly and informative. The room itself was smaller than I'm used to in Holiday Inn's but was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. September 4, 2014

I find the location convenient to my clients and also enjoy the fact that there are many local restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very up to date and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The elevators can be a little slow at times. Parking fees seem a little high but not out of line when looking at other parking fees in the area. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific greeting and a really good stay A handshake for a welcome and really listening to my son's patter about his trip started this stay off on the right foot. Moving us up a floor didn't hurt the view either (a terrific look at the Ben Franklin bridge over the Delaware). The problem was, even in the non-smoking hotel, the new room they'd assigned REEKED of cigar. Some people! The solution was one call and a three-minute wait... now THAT's service! Breakfast was the usual... I'd really like to see some additional variety on this but I'm afraid HIE buys in bulk and there's little the individual hotel can do about it. Still, there was fresh fruit available each morning in addition to the 'omelets,' sausages, biscuits and such. Certainly no one walked away hungry. The juices were also a but above average (not too watery like most places). The free shuttle was a real help considering Philly even charges for handicapped parking... and at the same rate... everywhere! The 'net was reliable and the cleaning crew was on its game... so they'll be nothing from me but a big thumbs up. It was so good in fact... we added an additional day (that NEVER happens)! It was a real pleasure to stay in this HIE and I'd do it again. September 2, 2014
