Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Enjoyable Stay We enjoyed our stay at this fresh, new hotel. The room was comfortable & the bathroom was especially nice. We looked forward to our tasty express breakfast in the pleasant , nicely decorated, breakfast area. The location is great--a few blocks away from the Desert Ridge Marketplace which has great restaurants and shops. Also, we enjoyed the hotel's close proximity to the Arizona desert. We are looking forward to a shuttle service on our next stay. January 30, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great New Hotel We chose this hotel because I like consistency in where I stay and I always strive for a Holiday Inn Express. Stayed two nights and my brother and his wife stayed in another room across the hall. This hotel was less than a mile from my activity location (brother's house) Levi was super as he directed us to the hotel when my GPS came up short. You can see the hotel from the highway and my brother was quick to point out that the hotel was, "Right over there!" .., but once off the highway we had to locate the hotel (the first time) by dead reckoning which took us through a strip shopping center. The third and fourth time finding it became easier. I am a Gold IHG Club Member... Once there, it was great! Great breakfast! ...etc! January 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice new hotel with a couple of issues The hotel is new and pretty nice, they just have some issues to work out. They forgot to clean my room 1 day and as a platinum member I do expect the basics to happen daily. The next day they cleaned my room and the maid didnt close the door to my room. That could have been a huge issue. Thank goodness nothing was taken. 3 times in my 4 night stay the key cards they gave me got deactivated. Not a huge issue, but had to go down to the lobby everyday to get them reactivated. Overall it was a nice clean hotel and I might stay there again when I am in town. January 5, 2014

I was unaware however of all the restaurants and shops so close to the hotel. Nice rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. We had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone in the North Scottsdale area. December 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great stay! We are locals who needed to vacate our home for a couple days and wanted a place close by. This hotel is brand new and met our needs perfectly. The rooms are very nicely and comfortably furnished. The TV had a very nice selection of channels. The mattress was awesome, and we slept very well. The breakfast was wonderful, and the entire hotel was very clean from top to bottom. My wife needed to work one of the days, and the free Wi-Fi worked just fine. The staff was very courteous. There were a couple of high school soccer teams staying there while we were there, and the hotel staff asked us if everything was OK, and if the floor was quiet enough. They were very kind to us and had placed us on the top floor, corner room - perfect! We definitely will recommend this hotel to friends/family who are visiting should the need arise. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Many issues I rated our overall experience at this hotel as fair because the front desk staff was friendly (willing to store our luggage after checkout while we went to eat) and the breakfast was decent. I was dissatisfied because during our 4 night stay our room was never cleaned. The bed was never re-made, our trashes never emptied and we were only offered fresh towels 1 time when a housekeeper dropped them off in the evening. To me this is unacceptable. Even more unacceptable was that we were charged a "room cleaning fee" after check out. While discussing this absurd claim my boyfriend was told that he should "train his girlfriend better" to keep the room cleaner and vacate the room during the day so it could be cleaned (the room was vacated for the majority of the day each day and housekeeping was never turned away when the room was occupied; they did not attempt to clean the room). This comment by a staff member is extremely disrespectful and sexist. Due to these complaints and this disrespect I would not stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone. Also, the hotel is far from the airport and cab drivers did not know how to find it. Not the hotel's fault but an inconvenience for our stay. December 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location & New! The hotel is brand new and in a great location. It is down the street from an outdoor mall with many many stores & places to eat. The hotel itself is nice and new. The only suggestion I have is the snacks for purchase should be replenished more frequently (they were out of several drinks). If I am ever back in the area for business I would definitely stay here again. December 9, 2013
