My reservation was correct and I got upgraded to a suite! What a refreshing change to the screw ups and delays that are often seen as a normal part of travel. Thank you. October 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Personal Touch I don't like my room cold but found that at 77 degrees it was a little warm for me. I could not get the thermostat to work and called to the front desk around 11 pm. The desk clerk said everyone was gone but he said he could come up and see what he could do. As I hung up I heard the AC come on (of course it did). When the clerk came to the door I explained it all seemed fine, and thanked him for coming up. When I got up the next morning and started packing to leave I looked at the receipt under the door, Inside was a hand-written note apologizing for the AC and said "no one should have to sleep even one night with the room to warm" and gave me a discount for the room. The hand-written note and the un-asked-for room reduction were a great touch. Nice Job! October 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable but no connection Room, property and staff are all excellent at this property. It's a new construction and has the feel of one. My wife and I were in the Phoenix area on business and had internet connectivity issues everyday. We honestly expected a new property to have internet that worked. Contacted the Internet Help Desk, they went through the process of logging our laptops and cell phones into the network only to have them continue to experience connection issues. At best we would stay connected for 5 minutes then be asked to enter the login credentials again. I had to take my laptop to a wifi enabled restaurant to do my work email that couldn't be done from my phone or the property within the 5 minute connection window. I'd recommend this property as long as you don't need the internet for work purposes. October 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Service is good. My request for late check out was honored. My early wake up call was timely. I was scheduled for a surgical procedure at 6:15 AM and it was important to be awaken early. This hotel is very close to Mayo Clinic and is more reasonably priced for patients than other close hotels. My only complaint is the furniture is cheap and there is only one (1) chair and no couch. If a couple, one of you must lay on the bed to watch TV. Standard are not up to other Holiday Inn Expresses that we usually stay at. October 17, 2014

Room service is not available, and one of two delivery options available said they did not deliver when I called. October 11, 2014
