Overall experience was very good...I have stayed at this property a number of times and it is always excellent and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with anything. The bed and pillows were excellent as well...I like having the choice between firm or soft pillows. Keep up the great work!

The HI Express Phoenix/Chandler provides all that you'll need as a business traveler.
The only "negative" that I found is that breakfast starts too late. 6:00am is a better start time for business travelers to go to breakfast.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 A Tale Of Two Hotels
The front desk staff were excellent. As were the chambermaids. The breakfast choices were also very good. If you book a King room, you are in luck. This puts you on the pool side of the hotel away from the constant and close Freeway noise. If you book a double Queen room, bring your ear plugs or I hope you like NASCAR because you are in the thick of it. Also, for some strange reason our double Queen room did not have drapes or blackout blind that you could block out the lights from the constant traffic along highway 10.
As well, the Wifi is a joke. I've just come back to a roaming bill of $100 after having bought US plans. One minute you are connected, then it just drops.

This hotel needs updating. Rooms are not up to Holiday Inn standards. The staff tried to accommodate but they can't change the facility. The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate guest but they need something better to work with.
The rooms are half the size of other Holiday Inns we stayed at. We needed a room with a sofa to have room to relax but the sofa was so bad,we were almost sitting on the floor and the room was so small that we didn't have room to walk or find a place for our luggage. We needed a place to sit our luggage and you need a couple luggage stands in the rooms for families at least. We were moved to a different room but not comfortable. We had a stuffed chair in this room but very spotted. At least it had a chair and ottoman.
You could get by for a night, but if you are doing an extended stay as we were, it is not great. IHG needs step up this hotel. Thanks to the staff for trying.

The Internet service was so bad they it just did not work for any of us in any of the rooms we had. Because of that we will not stay at this Holiday Inn on any of our future trips to PHX. As a Platinum member I was very disappointed.
