Our family enjoyed our overnight at this location. The pool was extremely warm and relaxing. Staff was very accommodating as well.

The rooms truly need updating. Beds are too small and bathroom tub/shower didn't feel safe. Holes and wobbly base. The room smelled musky.

I was not able to relax due to illness. That is the only thing. This hotel has the best customer service, hands down! I had to leave early due to illness and the front desk was so understanding. My daughter left her wallet with valuable information inside in the room. The housekeeping supervisor, Amanda, went out of her way to see it was sent back to us. She did this on her own time and was in constant contact with me. I can't thank her enough. She went above and beyond. I hope you realize what a valuable employee you have in her.

THE STAFF AT THIS FACILITY WAS EXCELLENT. THE FACILITY ITSELF HOWEVER NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. THE BATHROOM DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH LIGHT AND THE INTERIOR OF THE ROOM IS OUTDATED. THE TV WAS BOLTED TO THE DRESSER MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE THE MIRROR INSIDE THE ROOM. ALSO, DURING OUR STAY THERE WAS A CONSTANT NOISE, MAYBE A DRYER WITH SOMETHING IN IT, MAKING A "THUMPING" NOISE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT, BOTH NIGHTS. THIS MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO SLEEP. OTHER GUESTS COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ISSUE BUT IT WAS NEVER RESOLVED AND WE NEVER WERE ABLE TO FIND OUT THE ISSUE. THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE STAYING AND EATING BREAKFAST THAN THE STAFF COULD KEEP UP WITH. THE BREAKFAST BANANAS HAD TURNED BROWN AND WERE NOT EDIBLE. WE STARTED USING HOLIDAY INN JUST LAST YEAR TO TRY OUT THE SERVICES, THIS IS OUR WORST EXPERIENCE WITH HOLIDAY INN FACILITIES.

I have never stayed at a place that was more accomodating than the Holiday Inn Express at Pigeon Forge, Tn! The minute we arrived we were greeted with a smile from a warm friendly desk clerk. We felt welcomed!
Each moring we were treated like family,..from the desk clerk to the clean up personnel,..everybody was friendly!
We have decided that when we take other trips we will always look for a Holiday Inn Express and hope we are lucky enough to find one like Pigeon Forge.
We are frequent visitors to the Great Smoky Mountains and this was our first stay and the Inn,..but rest assured it won't be the last!

outside from the overcrowded area but close almost to every place, comfortable the hot tube and pool for our children, breakfast same things of other holiday inn but well processed. it misses only the inside fitness center,the rest was ok!

There was a bumping and knocking noise day and night while we were there. We reported it 3 times, but staff was unable to find the problem. They did offer to move us to another room, but once you get in and get comfortable, is too much trouble to pack up and move. We were there 2 evenings and just put up with it..

Enjoyed the property and the ammenities with it, my only problem was with our noisy neighbors next to us as well as across front us in the same family that left their latches out so their doors would bang all night long until 1:00 A.M. in the morning. Also game room on that floor ( 2nd) so I wouldn"t stay on that floor again, unless I had teenagers. Complained to front desk once, however nothing happened with that. As I checked out however very nice lady said I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, make sure you tell person at front desk to call security is that happens again. Talked to other guests on 4th and 5th floor, and their stay was very quiet. We've booked again for March 25th, 2013, so we'll see how this visit goes.

The staff was awesome, at check-in my room was ready to go and all the paperwork done, kinda pricey though the room was nice, the breakfast was good and hot and had plenty of food each time Location was great for seeing the sites of Pigeon Forge, the WiFi worked great hookup every time. Easy checkout. The elevators were slow from floor to floor, but overall was great. Nice place to stay with family and kids as well as by yourself.

Great service
Very nice rooms
We were there the week of Thanksgiving. Everything was very good. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good every morning we were there. Hotel in a good location easy to find close to all attractions.

Over all we and our friends enjoyed our trip to Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg. In fact we plan to travel to the area again next year and stay a few more days.
We felt the facility was looking a little tired. The towels were thread bare.
We were in the area to attend a presentation for a "timeshare" so I was a little surprised at the accomodations, when you would think that Holiday Inns and Resorts would be trying to make a big impression on us. However the place was clean and the staff friendly. The area was beautiful and there is lots to do. We look forward to returning to the area next year.

Clean and comfortable. What one would expect from the Holiday Inn Express chain. I have stayed at many different hotels around the country and normally avoid hotels near tourist attractions due to excessive wear and tear.
I was pleasantly surprised here!
This location was missing a true business center, limited to a single computer and printer in the lobby, but there was no line when I needed it.
They also served an excellent warm Apple Cider in the evenings!

Stayed here for 2 nights and have to say it is a pleasant and decent experience.
Pros:
Cleaniless in room, Well maintained overall, nice breakfast, excellent staff and service, large flat screen TV, location
Cons:
maybe needs some renovation as one can feel the room is kind of old looking at the carpet and beds. nothing much actually as everything else was fine for us.

I can not write anything positive about the weekend at this property at all. I do not remember the last time I went on a vacation were the doors to a property were not automatic. Always running out of food at breakfast time (or at least the () days I was there. Even coffee one morning. Either the staff is not trained or there is not enough prep space. Yes I had a King room, but no desk or table or anything like that do work at. Eveb to sit and look at an ipad. Just unreal in my opinion. We will return to the area but I will not stay at this property.
It is way overpriced for the amenities.

I wanted to make sure I had reserved quality hotels for my sister's 60th birthday excursion, so I called Holiday Inn's 800 number, and got it all arranged. Staying at Holiday Inn in Pigeon Forge was just as comfortable as all the rest of the Holiday Inn places we stayed throughout the east . The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had extra towels in case you wash your hair, the remote was easy to operate ( not a woman thing), and you got both firm and soft pillows on the bed.
Breakfast before we went out for the day was heavenly. There was a variety of foods offered, from eggs to sausage and gravy with fresh biscuits. Of course there was delicious coffee and juice to wash it all down.
And YES, I would most definitely make reservations at a Holiday Inn hotel the next time I go on a mini vacation.

the tv was the only new thing in the room, the room was clean and thats the only thing good I can say, they need to replace the old outdated A/C units they make the worse sounds when compressior kicks on it wakes you up each time. this hotel is nothing like the newer expresses

Lighting bad, dark rooms, bath and hall; carpet dirty in room and hall; commode hard to flush; entire unit is pretty used up; needs complete remodel; the worse condidition and highest priced Holiday Inn Express I've stayed in. AAA gives it a 3-star rating, should be 2-star. Had a great Holiday Inn Express the night before in Harriman, TN, at a great rate! Won't be back to the Holiday Inn Express in Pigeon Forge.

Hotel looks great from outside; however, the rooms are dated and the beds need to be replaced. My room had a very bad smell coming from the carpet. Not enough breakfast selections as far as meats, lots of carbohydrates.
