I though it is a very clean and nice hotel I would have chosen to be on strip but it was in a fairly good location breakfast was very good every morning and will save you a lot of money very nice of hotel to offer this

Manager was terrible. Instead of trying to listen to my problem and situation, she was very combative and only wanted to discuss her issues.
In a completely baffling turn of events, the manager, instead of trying to help with a broken, spraying hot tub threatened to call the police.

Where to start? I made my reservations at this facility with good expectations-After all it is a Holiday Inn. As a rewards member I would have expected a decent view out the window-nope-looked at the side of the building. Not happy but I also didnt make any special request. I also was not recognized as being a member-not that it is an important gesture but I have ALWAYS been thanked and at least offered a bottle of water. I did have a leaking sink in the bathroom. I reported it. They "fixed" it. NOT! It still was leaking and they left the plumbing snake in the room and their work cloths. The beds were not comfortable at all, and although they were clean it was a miserable 3 days. If I hadnt already paid- I would have left. The only positive thing was the breakfast, but certainly not enough to get me back at this facility for a third visit. We go to PF at least 2 times a yr and stay in the local hotels. Unfortunately I will not be back at this one. Beyond disappointed in Holiday Inn at this location.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 No Hot Water on 2 of the 3 days
We did not have hot water in our room for 2 of the 3 days. The first morning we had no hot water until 10 a,m, and that evening we were not able to use the jacuzzi tub because of lack of hot water. The second day we had hot water in the morning but only enough for one shower, my partner had to wait to take hers but was able to take it half hour later. That evening we were able to use the jacuzzi but very late at night hours after we intended to use it. I understand the hotel was fully booked which may have attributed to the problem. When staff came to look at the water problem they apologized and said we were at the end of the run. We also had problems with the toilet the first night with it taking a long time to fill between flushes, that problem was fixed but late the next day. We were told they had a lot of repair requests. We were in room 325.

This hotel was an amazing hotel. We had a great experience. The service was great. The breakfest was great. The rooms where clean and very comfortable. My family loved this hotel and the great service. We will come back again! We tend to stay at this hotel at least 3 times a year. I give it a great rate!!! We encourage familes to stay at these hotels while traveling. They have amazing rooms,breakfest,service and a wonderful indoor pool for everyone to enjoy!

This seemed to be an older facility that is in need of some work. The layout of the 2 room suites is very strange. The staff however were very friendly and helpful.

The motel has not been updated since 2008. The mattresses need to be replaced. You sank into them and I rolled out of the bed. The carpeting was dirty and had many spots. The carpeting in the hall was dirty with many spots. The elevator was very abused. When you came off the elevator the carpeting was black in places. This is not a good representation for Holiday Inn.

The ease of getting to the hotel, the room itself and cleanliness were all a plus. We went for a two night stay for vacation and I was rather pleased with the room and check in and check out. The only complaints I had were that on line when I booked this hotel it said that there was an outdoor and an indoor pool and there was no outdoor pool. The other is that when we went to breakfast the first thing I saw was hair on the bisquits. I know that this can happen anywhere, however it did ruin me from eating the breakfast the two mornings we stayed. I had to go elsewhere. Just how I am I guess. But overall it was a good experience.

Ok, couple things. This was a "free stay" from Holiday Club Vacations deals. We were initially scheduled to stay at the Holiday Inn however my experience in business travel has proven that the Holiday Inn Express's are newer, cleaner and overall nicer places to stay. For that reason I asked to be moved to the Express. Wow, big mistake. I visited the Reg. Holiday inn and it appeared to be much nicer than the Express we stayed at. We were told we'd have 2 queen beds which turned out to be doubles. The room was very small for 2 adults and 2 kids for 5 nights. When I asked for a different room I was told they didn't have any with queen beds. Kind of a "tough luck" response from the receptionist. Really disappointing response. No I'm sorry or anything. The beds wore worn out and painful to sleep on. No ice machine on 5th floor. Breakfast was not kept up with fast enough for how busy this place was.
Holiday Club Vacations also irritated me by saying 90 minutes presentation then telling me "at least 120min" when we arrived. I believe that is against TN state law. Overall after this experience I may second guess Holiday Inn as my and our Company's main hotel chain.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. It is in a very convenient location and our stay was very comfortable. Everyone who we came in contact with at the hotel were very hospitable and welcoming.

The check in process was a bit tedious. The man and woman were flustered and seemed confused. This was the only HI Express of the 8 we stayed in this week that did not have a fitness center. The hotel was a bit hard to find due to no sign on the road.

Two annoyances: 1) there was no guide on the TV, which made it difficult to find programming without going through many channels. Sometimes the TV would not change channels. 2) The hot water took a very long time to appear at the tap, especially when attempting to shower late at night.

Have stayed in Holiday Inns from New York state to Florida. This was one of the very nicest Holiday Inn experiences. Minor problem with room when I checked in, but it was rectified immediately.
Front desk staff was particularly friendly and helpful.
Would highly recommend this hotel for people staying in the Pigeon Forge area.

When we arrived we were greeted so warmly and the staff had us in a very nice room within minutes. Loved everything about the room except that the A/C unit was noisy and especially noticeable while sleeping but we adjusted to the noise eventually. Otherwise we had a great nights sleep. We had our two grandchildren with us and they loved being on the 5th floor and we did too. The pool is located in a large indoor area with lots of windows so it seemed like it was outside. Loved every minute we spent there.
The breakfast was very nice with lots of choices so we were well set to go for hours at Dollywood.

The bed linens were stained with blood, which we did not notice until the next morning. The facilities look as though they have been updated at some point, but they are in need of repair.
I have stayed at a variety of hotels in this chain. Most of the time when vacationing we will stay with a Holiday Inn Express. I have been spoiled by other hotels--fresh and new looks, ammenities, etc. This hotel was a disappointment and I do not feel that it lives up to what I traditionally receive when I stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
This is the first IHG hotel that I have stayed at that did not have automatic doors leading into the check-in counter. It made it extremely difficult to get luggage inside the hotel even with a luggage cart.

Great hotel made that way by its staff! I cannot say enough to tell you how awesomely accommodating they were!! They courteous on the phone before we came and even more so when we arrived. Room was clean and quiet with a lot of space. Breakfast was great with many choices. Hotel is nearby to National Park and close to all the amusements in Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg.

When traveling, we attempt to stay at Holiday Inn Express. We have had no problems with those features important to us, including staff attitude, cleanliness of the room, ease of checking in and out, and the breakfast variety, which we enjoy. Breakfast on site is convienient, and helps us start our day without the hassel of finding a place to eat.
