Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Another great stay We have stayed in this hotel many times in the last 5 years. We have always found the staff to be wonderful and very accommodating. The manager, Teresa, is always working to keep the hotel upgraded and housekeeping does a terrific job of keeping it clean and inviting. The hotel has had new carpet, floor tiles, bathroom upgrades with granite counter tops and new mattress and pillows over the years in a continuing effort to maintain the high quality that guests can appreciate . We were recently in the area for a family funeral and I booked 4 suites for family's needs and found all of them to meet our high standards of expectations. Two staff members, Teresa and Angie, especially, always go out of their way to be helpful in any way. The breakfast area is always clean and inviting and the staff there are very accommodating too. There are several more hotels to choose from in the area....some more expensive and some less expensive....but the Holiday Inn Express is always our first choice! November 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel but hard to find entrance We stayed at this hotel while travelling through Kentucky. The entrance drive to the hotel was very hard to find due to no entrance right off the highway. It's sort of off a frontage road. A sign indicating where the entrance to get to the parking area would have been nice. Beware of the train tracks near, too, for noise. Took us by surprise. But we were tired, we slept. Rooms very comfy, breakfast very good. All in all, a good stay. November 16, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by One of the worst Holiday Inn's I have stayed at. Property is not well marked and requires a circuitous route to get to. In order to enter the building desk clerk has to unlock the front door which is also the only entrance/exit from the building (this was between 7 and 8 PM). No acknowledgement was ever made that I was a Priority Club member and no amenities were provided. Property building was very cheaply constructed with little sound proofing. My room had trash on the floor and the bathroom floor was sticky. Minimal size TV in the room. There was not a double lock on the door. Bed was reasonably comfortable with normal Holiday Inn Express bedding. Room furniture was old and outdated. Overall not a good experience especially considering the exorbitant price of the room for the quality. November 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would stay again. Property itself is average for HI Express properties. Staff is amazing and attentive to anything you need. Jamie is a standout and gets my personal kudos, she went a step above for me when I had to leave early and did not find out until after normal checkout, she gave me a late checkout without my even asking, saved me a nights charge, keep up the good work. When in the area again, I will definitely stay here. Only negatives I have would be the entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing and the elevator is very slow. October 28, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place and nice folks Very nice place to stay. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel as if we were indeed welcome. Room nice, but we did hear trucks from time to time on US23. Breakfast was nice: good, hot food and wonderful service. Would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. October 23, 2014
