I arrived without a reservation and was given a very clean room at a very reasonable rate. the manager was very helpful.

One of the reasons I love HIX is that I always know what to expect. Except at this location. I was checked in by the regional manager who had to keep asking the desk clerk how to do things. When I finally got to the room there was someone's bag inside. They discovered that it was the maid's bag and removed it. Returning to the room I turned on the lights and saw that the bed wasn't made. They sent housekeeping to strip and make the bed. The next morning I checked out and moved to another location in town.

Have stayed here in the past and was one of the best places to stay, but this stay was horrible. Staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. Asked several times to get something and it was always we are working on it and never got it the whole week I was there. The key pad didn't work on any of the doors so you had to go through the front door. Other people in our group had to be moved to other rooms from dirty rooms and tvs not working. There is another holiday Inn express in pine bluff and it will be the place I stay from now on.

Best hotel by far if you have to stay overnight in Pine Bluff. This hotel does a great job all around, no questions asked. Be prepared to to pay $25 in 5 different kind of taxes, which of course has nothing to do with Holiday Inn. I mean a 'City Beautification Tax"?? Have you SEEN the city??
Anyway, best and safest place to stay if you are unfortunate enough to have to stay in Pine (crime) Bluff.

I had to get moved to another room and that room was only slightly better. They obviously do not clean bathrooms well in between lodgers. Debris and hair in the bathroom.

I have stayed here many times as the location is great for visiting my daughter. The hotel was closed for several months: I though for remodeling. This was my first stay since the reopening. I got a suite and first thing I noticed was no lamp by the sofa. By the time the lamp was delivered, I had discovered the chair at the table was filthy and stained. The clock was so dirty I put it in a drawer. The carpet is dirty, the sofa upholstery has a hole in it. The garbage bins in the dining area are awkward with a wooden flap that is not big enough for a plate without getting food bits on the flap..... It is very unsanitary. Previously I have suggested an open trash can would be better, but it hasn't been corrected. Regardless of convenient location I will not stay here again. Oh, the towels were new and good and the employees were nice.

Checked in about 10:00 PM on the night of 1/26/2015. Could not find TV Remote. Called front Desk. Stated she would be there in a minute. Waited 15 minutes. While waiting, I searched the entire room. No TV Remote. Decided to turn TV on manually. No power cord or cable connected to TV. Went to front Desk. The Clerk hands me a cable. I turned it down because a Power Cord was also needed. She offered to send a Maintenance Person and made a comment that she has gotten other complaints about maintenance issues recently. Told her to forget the TV. I was going to bed. No sincere apologies or help offered. This is my only bad experience with Holiday Inn Express. Apparently there is a problem with the maintenance person or crew. I won't stay at this location again.
