Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 best bed ever This was the best bed ever. The front desk staff was very friendly and the cleaning staff was also helpful. My family has stayed in hotels in South Dakota to Gulf Shores and this was a very favorable stay. May 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No management staff on site There was brown and black mold on the ceiling of the shower in room # 221. There was a blood stain on one of the pillows. Requested a wake up call on all three nights stayed at the hotel, and never received one. My room was not cleaned at all, not once during the three day stay. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous , but when the issues with room # 221 were brought to there attention, they contacted the manager by phone, and the owner of the hotel with the obvious concerns. I was told that I would receive 1000 IHG points for my inconvenience. I am a Platinum Elite member, and was disgusted with even trying to offer such a minimal credit, for such a horrible stay. The Holiday Inn express on Camden Road will not, or ever be in consideration for our companies future travel plans to the area. We work at a minimum of twice a month in the area, and will also let our customer know of the experience that my fellow employee and I both experienced during our stay. April 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Upgrades needed I have stayed at this hotel twice recently and only because my hotel of choice was sold out. At this visit I could not get some of the local channels on TV and the toilet handle was about to fall out of the toilet. The weather was nice and I wanted to sit in a chair by the pool but it was padlocked. Some additional outdoor seating would be nice. On my previous visit my room was never cleaned and I was not charged the correct rate for the room I was given. All staff encountered are very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. This is not a bad hotel, it is just in serious need of upgrading and/or updating. Good hotels in Pine Bluff are scarce and I think with some work this HI could stay full and provide some competition for the popular hotel down the road. April 12, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 A Couple of Suggestions 1. The wireless internet service was not very good. I had trouble connecting to it with both my phone and my PC. And when it did connect, the speed was very slow. 2. At breakfast, the milk in the fridge was bad. It still had 5 days left before the date on the carton was reached. I tried 2 cartons and both were bad. It appeared the fridge/cooler was going out, because it was turned up to max, but the temp inside wasn't very cool. On a positive note, the room was clean and the people were very friendly. April 6, 2015
