I booked a room here because the rest of the hotels in the area were fully booked. I don't usually like paying over a certain amount for a room, but didn't have a choice. I figured, it's Holiday Inn Express, after all!
Total disappointment!!! Bad front desk service! Apparently the "customer in front of you" is not as important as a personal conversation on the phone. She allowed me to stand there for 12 minutes, after another patron walked away, while she laughed and conversed on the phone. An elderly couple had checked in in front of me and she didn't even finish with their information. They had received their key prior to filling out the rest of the info needed to check in. Their info was just left there sitting on the front desk counter for anyone to see. Even the cleaning lady, which noticed I was getting upset, came over and tried to help me but couldn't check me in. When the front desk clerk finally got off the phone, she couldn't find my key. It was in plain site, right in front of her!!
The room followed suit! The carpet needed vacuuming, the bathroom needed attention, and there was hair everywhere!!! Long, blonde and black hair everywhere!! It's like the staff went in and shook a duffel bag of hair in the bathroom! The air conditioning wasn't functioning, the knobs were broken. I addressed my concerns to the staff in the morning and they offered to change me to a different room. It was cleaner and the a/c worked, but the bed was in dire need of a new mattress. I won't be staying here anymore!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the air was on when we arrived, avoiding that stuffy smell. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We used the handicap lift for the pool and the staff took care of getting it ready for us quickly. It made our stay great.

She did not ask for my priority number and when I was trying to tell her that I was a member and during our whole conversation ,she kept saying huh?. She never heard a word I was saying because she wouldn't remove her ear buds or turn her music down. The air conditioning did not work in my room,too hot to sleep.Very dissatisfied with this hotel.

I did not enjoy the front desk clerk hopping off her stool and putting her phone down each time I visited the front desk. I asked the front desk for a fan, since the a/c cannot control the temp. of the room. I can't recommend this location for a summertime stay.
The hallway was at a stifling hot temp. The business center was usable as the computer was not working. The front desk staff is aware of the computer and heat issues but seemed quite indifferent especially knowing you are moving on the next day anyway. I won't be back.

The staff made you feel comfortable and were very friendly. Quiet stay and great breakfast options including muffins and hot breakfast items. Overall nice stay.

The staff, the service, and the stay were better than I expected. The facility is very clean and the room was comfortable and spacious. My husband was pleasantly surprised, and also enjoyed the stay.

I stay at this hotel every year for 4-5 days and every year it is a nice experience. I can relax....I can sleep...and the staff is always on point!
NOTE: The only bad experience on this trip was the fact that my ( and others) room key kept resetting causing us to go back down to the front desk to re-program the room key. This happened 3 days straight. VERY ANNOYING and an INCONVEINCE,
