front desk check in was adequate, did verbally acknowledge Platinum club membership, however first time we were not offered thank you goodie bag or reward points, or cookies.
we had made reservation thru ihg website and that seemed to be a negative.
The room was in good shape, clean and quite.

My family of 5 were not given ANY service of any sort by the housekeeping staff. The only reason I could think of as to why was because I asked the staff not to clean the room until we left for the day and my family did not leave the room until well afternoon. I was expecting that even a lite cleaning would be done to make sure our stay was a bit satisfactory but NO CLEANING had been done at all while my family was out of the room. My family was all very unsatisfied and unhappy with the staff of the hotel.

Typical Holiday Inn Express, very close to the limited shopping and eateries in the area.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I have stayed in 3 others in this area and it is the best so far. The breakfast room staff went above and beyond with their service.I won't hesitate to book here again. Even my 7 year old daughter liked it.

This is my 3rd time here. I travel for work and we try to always stay at IHG properties. This time, my group was here for 6 nights. After the first night, the morning front desk staff decided to check me out of my room, as "there is no one in that room, there is nothing in it" according to the cleaning staff. So- that means the cleaning staff entered my room to check and make sure there was nothing in my room??? when I have the do not disturb on the door - like I do ALL THE TIME. My key didn't work that night - after a 20 hour work day mind you.... Jessica, the night front desk gal (super sweet, helpful and friendly) rechecked me in and fixed my key for the rest of my stay. The next day, the same front desk clerk checked my out ... AGAIN! Jessica contacted the manager that night, who said she would call me on Tuesday morning when she got in. Tuesday morning comes around and no call from the manager. Talked to Jessica again that night and she said the manager said she talked to me and I was very upset and angry with her. WHAT?! I have never even talked to the manager. Checked my credit card statement today - yup... Got billed for 2 nights already. Thanks for blowing part of my Spire Elite bonuses by not giving me my weekend stay. Thanks. Appreciate that too. So here it is, Wednesday and I can't wait to check out tomorrow!
