Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tired old property This property is in poor condition. Supposedly, the bathrooms are being renovated and new furniture is coming. Our bathroom had been renovated and was already in disrepair. Breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express has not changed in 6 years. Still high carb and low on healthy choices. October 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Management, Hotel & Staff This is by far the nicest Holiday Inn Express hotel that I have ever stayed in. I travel very much with my work and I have stayed in about every single Holiday Inn Express hotels located on the East Coast. My room including the bed linens and shower area is always just "squeaky" clean !!! You can tell everything is so clean and has been cleaned very well by the housekeeping staff. This is what I am the most pickiest about is cleanliness and I am hard to please when it comes to that subject. But this hotel .. takes "cleanliness" to a whole new level !!! And it doesn't stop there. Now we talk about "real" southern hospitality !! The front desk personnel is the most nicest and professional people you will ever meet. You don't hurt for anything while staying at this hotel. Both the management and staff both will do everything they possibly can to make your stay the best. And it doesn't stop there either. Even the manager comes out to the front desk to make sure all is in order and she always takes the time to speak to me no matter how busy they are. You can easily tell (once you meet Mrs. Bell) where the front desk staff and housekeeping got their positive values and hard work from. I firmly believe in almost every case .. what makes one hotel stand out above another hotel .. is the leadership and direction given to the hotel workers by the management. It takes two. It takes a good manager .. and it takes a dedicated staff. This hotel has both. You don't find this kind of hotel just anywhere. That's why I stay at this hotel. October 12, 2014
