Worst Service I have ever experienced. 1st I tried to check in an was told they had a busy night prior and I would have wait until a room was available along with the 15 or so guests trying to check in. That could be an hour or longer they said. I explained that it was already check in time and I was a spire member. That caught their attention and I only had to wait 20 minutes after traveling 15 hrs. When I checked in I asked about my welcome points or goodie bag, nope we don't do that. REALLY.?
2nd item no cord for the alarm clock and phone cord from mouthpiece plugged into the data ports. Finally called after fixing both phones and they would try to get me a working alarm clock. Finally after calling again I got it on late the second day.
3rd Something sticky was on the floor by the refrigerator and that stayed there for a week!
Continuing on I got back about 2:45 pm the first full day, no room cleaning. I checked in on a Saturday and my room was not serviced till Wednesday and only then because I called house keeping and told them I wanted it cleaned before 2pm.
Even after the servicing no shampoo or soap, no coffee or cups. I had to leave a note asking for these items to be replaced. Must be commodities like platinum or gold.
They even missed a cleaning again and it was 3:15pm.
Upon checkout I asked again for the welcome points and she told me because I was leaving early it doesn't apply. I stayed approximately 10 days there and it was the worst days spent I have ever had in a Holiday Inn Express.
Please educate your staff and start watching your managers.
I would expect an explanation and apology from the General manager.
I am a very easygoing customer and don't expect too much, coffee soap and a clean room.

This is a great Holiday Inn as they all seem to be. Wonderful value, especially for the price. We had a small problem with our door and immediately the problem was not only fixed but the staff went above and beyond! Thank you for a great stay.

When we travel to Pittsburgh once a year to see my in-laws we always stay at this Hotel. It is the most convenient location for various sister/brother/mother, etc. visit & rendezvous'. It really does seem to get better & better with each new manager. Manager Gary was on site & gave us the perfect quiet room.
Nice & clean & staff is pleasant to talk to.
They do need to deal with the smoke smell in various places throughout the hotel, such as elevator & air vents.
