The hotel is part of a conference center nestled in a wooded area that was quite lovely during our fall stay. The hotel is quite large and there is a pretty walking trail that goes around the lake. The hotel common areas were very nice, but quite chilly at times. There were none of the famous Holiday Inn cinnamon rolls for breakfast (apparently the delivery truck did not arrive) which was disappointing. The hotel had a nice fitness center; however, you had to go the front desk and ask for a key, and there were few keys available. It is also adjoined to a Crowne Plaza (I think), and there is a nice bar and restaurant for guests of both hotels to use. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

We booked at the Princeton Holiday Inn Express based on a recommendation from someone in the local area and could not have been more pleased. From the moment we entered the door we were treated like valued guests. The hotel décor was very pleasing and the entire facility sparkling clean. The beds and pillows were high quality and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast way exceeded our expectations, with scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, a variety of breads, bagels, and muffins, fruit, cereals, etc. The staff kept the dining area clean and the food restocked. We were also impressed with how well the staff knew the local area and were able to recommend restaurants and other amenities. We loved the pool and hot tub, and although we did not use the workout center it was very well laid out and offered a variety of high quality equipment. We were so comfortable we extended our stay twice. The one consideration for people with walking limitations is the long hallways to many of the rooms, although rooms near the entrance are available and the design does make the hotel much quieter than many.

My wife and I are regular Holiday Inn Express customers. This was the first time at this location. It was a one night stay.
1. The signage was inadequate to easily find the location.
2.. We were not greeted as IHG rewards members, nor we we offered complimentary water or points. We had to remind the next day's clerk to apply our stay points.
3. Most distressing is that there were no cinnamon rolls for breakfast. This is a signature item for this brand. There should be no excuse even if there was a large crowd the day before. It demonstrates a lack of planning and attention to detail that may be representative of all the hotel's operations.
4. For the price we paid, we did not see this as a good value.
1. Nice setting shared by another hotel brand.
2. Room was clean and comfortable.
3. We enjoyed a very nice supper at the connected hotel's dining room.
