Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Accomodating staff We arrived a day before our reservation (my mistake), but the desk staff was very kind. They gave us the only room remaining that met our minimum criteria: a suite! And there was no increase in price. We were very comfortable. It felt just like home. My only complaint is that there was a shortage of luggage carts. Breakfast was good and the staff again friendly and helpful. The next time I'm in the Plano area, this is definitely where I'll stay. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by VERY DISAPPOINTED UNFRIENDLY STAFF Stayed at the hotel for my son's graduation. Room was not ready at the 3pm chech-in time and we even requested early check-in. Front desk staff was not very friendly during check-in and there was no food or coffee at the breakfast bar and were told it was too close to "closing time" to bring out more food. Staff did not even offer to make us more coffee. June 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyed our stay Clean, friendly and efficient staff! Breakfast far exceeded our expectations when compared to complimentary breakfast served at other hotel chains. Hot breakfast, great quality and plenty of choices. The attendant during breakfast did a fantastic job and I noticed several people in our crew that were there to attend a nearby wedding complimented her personally. Please extend our gratitude to the employee working the breakfast area on Sun, June 1st! You should be proud to have her on your staff. The area was busy and she ensured every item was promptly refilled and tidy. She had a great attitude and was very friendly. Will recommend this property! June 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handicapped accomidations While not handicapped, I could quickly recognized that the room assigned was well equipped for someone with special needs and I see the hotel is also service pet friendly. I did particularly enjoy the relatively low height of the bed. Great to know that this is available for people with special needs. June 2, 2014

They have a rinky dink room with no working treadmill; an old old stairmaster that will do more harm than good. Barely any weights to speak of. Terrible! The rooms were not very clean; lots of dust. The pullout in the suite does not pullout. No provision of extra blankets. The front desk is staffed by an array of confused people. All around, just a poorly run hotel. Not worth the expense. Front desk check-in was not such a great experience. No mention or recognition of my being a rewards member or offer for a bottle of water as many Holiday Inn Express properties provide. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by stay was good Checking in NOT GOOD The stay was fine when we tried to check in was told abruptly NO thats not going to happen. So me my wife our 2yr old daughter & mother in law just took a seat and waited for 2 hours ( I hoped the lady behind the counter would ask that someone clean our room 1st or at minimum notify her when a room is ready THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN ) When i tried again the same lady behind the counter didnt remember me or acknowledge that my family had been just hanging out for 2 hours. This person is not who should be 1 customer contact at a hotel April 12, 2014

The wind was very strong and it kept howling around the window or air conditioning unit which would wake us several times in the night. April 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm Welcome & Great Stay The staff warmly welcomed me on an icy cold night. I live nearby by and had to find a place to stay for the night as the heater in my home had quit working and the repairmen could not arrive until the next day to fix it. The streets were iced over but the 1.5 mile drive was worth it as the hotel was very clean, had a wonderful aroma, the room was spacious and relaxing. The next morning I was able to have a hot delicious breakfast which was included with the room. Everything was just perfect at this location. March 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The second to worst hotel stay I have ever had. I would like to start off by saying I stay in alot of hotel rooms. Usually the stays are very inviting and comfortable experiences . This stay on the other hand was to say the least very poor. I can tell you the obvious recent "upgrades" were less than par. The next thing I noticed as the air came on was a sound coming from the vent that sounded like a tazzer in the air vent stuck in the Fire position ! After calling the front desk they promptly sent a "maintenance man" to our room . He arrived with a ladder climbed atop and shook the vent grill as if that was going to do anything. After he was finished and the noise was just as bad if not worse he stated it was fixed and left as quick as he arrived. I then called back to the front desk and expressed my frustration with the continuos noise and was reassigned another room . After arriving at new room I noticed same shoty upgrades. So tired from the day I quickly grabbed a shower and prepared for bed. We then got into bed and no sooner turned out the lights and the same noise began in this room being exhausted I covered my head with a pillow and tried to drowned out the noise. Not real sure I fell asleep pretty sure I pulled the pillow so tight over my head trying to not hear the noise I passed out from lack of oxygen. The next morning visited the breakfast area and not only was disappointed in the selection but took one bite of the food and chunked it. Although I did receive a small discount I would not stay at this location again if it were free . March 7, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very old and needs a complete renovation My wife and I stayed for just one night over Thanksgiving. The layout of the lobby is quite strange. Had to wait for front desk clerk to make an appearance, and once they did, check-in was quick, but no recognition of my status. The hallway to our room had very old-looking carpeting, and overall had a dingy look. Pretty much the same for the room. Old carpet that we didn't want to touch with bare feet; bathroom was clean enough, but very old. This was handicap accessible room, and the accessibility was okay, but there was no closet or clothes rack. Mattress was very soft, and well past its useful life. Luckily both of us were pretty tired and were able to get decent sleep. Overall, there are probably other properties in the area that are newer and more comfortable. December 8, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Going Back I arrived early to the hotel at 11am on a Monday because of a schedule change. I went to check in early as a Platinum member. The young man at the desk told me no fewer than three times that their check in time was 3 pm. Fine. If there's no room, I'll go find something to do. I don't need to be talked to like I'm three years old. I do business in Dallas, but I will not be back to this facility again. Please teach some customer courtesy to you younger staff who has no clue. October 28, 2013

I don't give anything an excellent unless it greatly exceeds my expectations but this hotel is close to that. Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. With it being TX/OU football weekend with many fans at this hotel, I expected it to be a bit noisy until very late. However, it was extremely quiet. Breakfast is very good for this bar style. Good selection, fresh and hot with ample supply. We arrived in the last 30min of the breakfast time period and expected it to be picked over and not being replenished. We were very pleasantly surprised to find it fully stocked and fresh. In fact the staff was continuously replenishing the food until it closed. A minor dissatisfaction at check-in. A bit slow even though only one of two was helping another customer. Good location for access to the DART trains. October 18, 2013
